The New Yorker cover July 30 2018

After the debate, it seemed like an appropriate image to reproduce.

Even Drudge is calling it.

Former President Donald Trump went on a bizarre rant during the ABC News debate Tuesday night when he claimed that undocumented migrants are eating cats and dogs in Ohio – leading to a fact-check from moderator David Muir.

Over the last few days, the Trump campaign has promoted a false rumor that Haitian immigrants in Ohio are abducting and eating pets. The former president even promoted the claim via social media by reposting AI images of him defending cats and ducks.

New GOP talking point: it's not election interference, it's Alexa interference

Fox News and CNN accused of 'sane-washing' Trump's incoherent 'word salad' rants

Donald Trump keeps going off-script in bizarre rants during his rallies and speeches - but many news outlets claim he's 'focused and consistent'.

It wouldn't be a Donald Trump speech without some incoherent rambling or meltdown - but many media outlets have been accused of 'sane-washing' his off-script rants.

The 78-year-old often completely ignores his telemprompter and starts going off on huge tangents, such as his 'late, great Hannibal Lecter' remarks.

However, one political commentator has noticed a growing trend of news anchors trying to support Trump's rants immediately after they finish.

It's been picked up by journalist Aaron Rupar, who has coined the phrase 'sane-wash' to describe how reporters and pundits try to explain the meaning behind Trump's ramblings.

Cadet Bone Spurs is at Arlington.

Honoring all those losers and suckers. Of course the MAGA twits are extolling his patriotism.

Former President Donald Trump on Monday is expected to tie Vice President Kamala Harris to the chaotic Afghanistan War withdrawal on the third anniversary of the suicide bombing that killed 13 service members.

Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, is expected to visit Arlington National Cemetery to pay his respects to the service members killed in the bombing outside the Kabul airport. Trump will then go to Michigan to address the National Guard Association of the United States conference.

FOX anchor Matt Vereen is arrested on child porn charges

A sexual predator working for FOX? Color me surprised.

Matt Vereen, 28, a weekend anchor and sports reporter for the network's affiliate WACH FOX 57 in South Carolina, was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, the state's Attorney General announced.

Disturbing arrest warrants obtained by WIS-TV detail how investigators with the Columbia Police Department, the Department of Homeland Security and the state's Internet Crimes against Children Task Force found child pornography on his laptop.

One arrest warrant shows that officers found a digital photo on his MacBook of a girl, between the ages of 11 to 13, in a sexually suggestive pose.

What photo editing software do you use?

Came across this article regarding Adobe, seems some users are getting pretty pissed off with them.

What you use/recommend?

In this case, my feelings are tempered by the fact that I get it: Adobe is not beloved. Far from it, actually. The shift to subscription pricing has been wildly unpopular and seems to color almost every response to any step the company takes. Photographers have long memories, so it doesn’t even matter that the choice to give up perpetual software was made more than 10 years ago; some photographers are still mad now.

The past few years of minimal communication with the community at large followed by the tidal wave of bad press over the past six months has left Adobe’s standing with many photographers in shambles. Adobe couldn’t explain why it let its once excellent relationship with photographers and media lapse, only that it is sorry that happened.
