dont want to spoil it.
forcing bluetooth connections
so, i have a little sony bt speaker. it's not that old, but it only connects to my ipad, not my phone or my laptop. they just cant see it.
any thoughts?
need help finding someone to handle the sale of an antique piano
soooo. i bought this gorgeous piano. i dont play, yet, but it is a gorgeous object.
1 reason im not making progress is that i have tiny hands, and a kink in my rt arm. (also cuz im not rly trying. subject for a diff group.)
these days u can get scaled down keyboards. it was my plan to replace/reconfigure the keys. there arent many ppl who do it, or have even heard of it. but i found my way to a couple of the big guys, and they refuse to touch it cuz they think its a crime against history. the thing was built in the 1780s for the french court. ok, fine. i cant argue, it belongs in a museum. so i decided id sell it and buy something else.
well, i am having no luck figuring out how to sell it. i started at sothebys. they said- we agree its a valuable piano, but we dont deal w pianos, at all. suggested i need to find someone who specializes in them. asked a couple of the folks id been dealing w. nada.
ive found a few on the web, but no nibbles. tried a couple of the bigger chi auction houses, likewise, no joy.
any ideas? i mean, if i make a good faith effort to get it where it shd b, and cant, maybe theyll alter it for me. or maybe i can find someone else.
its in pretty good shape, tho it needs what old pianos need. itll b some coin if i keep it. fine.
i rly do feel like an ass to keep it to myself. but if im stuck, im stuck.

Why MAGA Was Never an Option for Michael Steele Michael's Quick Take
This is an excerpt from the full episode, "Finding Faith (with Don Lemon)"
Don Lemon flips the script and interviews Michael. The pair discuss Michael's evolution, the lessons he learned from his mother and the disappointing behavior of Black Republican men, such as Byron Donalds and Mark Robinson.
fun interview.
he's just made toooo much use of that photo for it not to b planned.
just saw tsf is selling signed copies of his big, bloody fake bravery pic. a week after it happened they had a picture book w it on the cover.
they pounded it and got pissed that it got no traction. like all things sick fuck, 2 days later, the news had moved on.
they planned it cuz they intended to use it. they thought it was the photo op of a lifetime. a magic bullet.
and they thought they cd get away w blaming it on dems.
his whole playbook has gone stale. thats y turn the page is such a great campaign slogan.
it gives me so much hope that ppl didnt fall for it. hate on the xitter all u want, but this has been pounded and pounded there from day 1. theres a couple big accounts that r NOT letting it go.
the hoods r off. my girl stephanie ruhle sums it up rt here-

lewendowski- "i'm sure he has not read a 900 page document."
on ari the other day. no shit corey. he can barely read.
this is not the flex u think it is.
they're finally saying it out loud. 'abortion after birth' is about doomed babies.
ive said this many times here- the kernel of truth in that outrageous claim is neonatal hospice.
the truth is, back in the day, a baby w a deformity wd often b put in a cold room, naked, to die. even a non-fatal deformity like spina bifida or downs syndrome. parents werent usually consulted. or the doc just overruled them, cuz he knows best.
that was outlawed under st ronnie. tho the born alive act was couched in antiabortion language, it was born babies, and their parents, who benefited.
now, apparently, they r saying it openly.
not a 1 of them cd do that work. its grueling and amazing.
the skills dont exist on their planet.
this xitter is apparently a former pro-lifer.

Jeff Goldblum on Earthquake During Rehearsal, 2028 Olympics in LA & He Sings About Guest Hosting!
delightful!
Guest Host Jeff Goldblum talks about being neighbors with Jimmy, the 4.4 earthquake that happened in LA when we were rehearsing today, the summer Olympics coming to LA in 2028, celebrities playing an important role in getting Americans to vote in elections, and he sings about guest hosting our show!
bumped into this gem on yt- interview w shirley chisholm.
Conversation with Shirley A. Chisholm (Talking Leadership series)
from 9 yrs ago. rutgers.
watching now, but know its worth the 25 min.
help me pick put my next ride.
so, im dumping my ford transit connect, which i absolutely despise. i bought it from carmax, and it didnt have the tech i wanted. but ive found many reasons to hate it, including the small fortune it just cost to replace the battery. its halfway under the dash, and required quite a bit of disassembly to get to.
but other than that, its what i need. small landlord, urban farmer, need to cart fairly large stuff around. dont have passengers often, but appreciate being able to cart a few ppl, esp as the election is upon us. i dont drive that much and dont believe in new cars.
looking on carvana today. they dont have a category for crossovers. but looking at a nissan kicks, maybe a jeep. had an 86 grand cherokee, and adored it. renegade looks cute.
or i cd just go w a subie outback. but taller wd b better.
saw a mitsubishi i liked too. dont remember the name.
no place to plug an electric anything.
no korean cars. hopefully this is my last car, and i am told that the parts r expensive and slow to ship.
thoughts? need to do this soon, as i let the city sticker expire on the ford, so im hiding it off street.
