Has Oregon been called yet?

HOOOOORAYYYY Elizabeth!!!!!

Welcome to the United States Senate!!!

Make your fearless forecast for Tuesday!

For the arbitrary sake of this poll, under 1% is a nailbiter, 1% but up to 4% is close, 4% but under 10% is a comfortable margin and 10% or more is a landslide.

I think that it'll be President Obama comfortably. That's my 2 cents and quite possibly overpriced at that!

On election night, the magic number for President Obama will be 192.

If he's gained 192 Electoral Votes before the west coast states have closed, he's IN.

He will win CA (55), WA (12), OR (7) & HI (4) for a total of 78. If he has 192 before the West Coast closes, Than 192 + 78 = 270.

In my opinion, he will be well over 192 at that time. I expect President Obama to wind up with well over 300 Electoral Votes. He SHOULD be well over 400, but there are too many too red/teabagger states.

That's my 2 cents, and quite possibly overpriced at that!

Jill Biden

I just want to take a moment before the frenzy of a last weekend of the neverending campaign and (UGH) the start of campign '16 to say that I think that Mrs. Biden is the most wonderful, elegant, intelligent, charming and underappreciated member of the Obama/Biden team. I have rarely seen such a classy gentlewoman in public life.

How about we all give a brief moment of our appreciation to the lovely lady who will (Please God) be one heartbeat away from being First Lady until January 20, 2017.

That's my 2 cents, and quite possibly overpriced at that (but I don't really think so this time)!

Well, as of today, both my wife and I have gone and done it!

My lovely wife went to our new town office during her lunch today. She registered and voted. I did the same last week.

So, as of today, there are 2 votes in Winthrop, Maine for President Obama, Rep. Chellie Pingree, David Bustin for State Senate, Craig Hickman for State Representative, Maeghan Maloney (whom I look at as a potential future Governor of Maine) for District Attorney and FOR Marriage Equality.

On Edit: Our 12 year old son will be voting for President Obama on Tuesday in his school's mock election, so our family is unilaterral in our support of the Obama/Biden ticket!

I would say that we both voted a straight Democratic ticket, but we both voted for Angus King, the independent candidate & former Governor, for US Senate. We both have a very high regard for Cynthia Dill, the Democratic nominee, but we wanted to take NO CHANCE of a repeat of 2010 and geting another paul lepage in the person of republican/teabagger charlie summers in the Senate. Our bad feelings are somewhat mitigated by the fact that the DSCC never really gave Dill much support and she ran an AWFUL campaign. We hope that she gets another bite at the higher office apple sometime in the future. You can never have TOO many good potential leaders in the party.

So, we've done our DUTY as loyal American citizens. We look forward to a great election night!

That's my 2 cents, and quite possibly overpriced at that!
