OAN just ran a disclaimer that President Biden was NOT arrested...

...(doctored video of one of their news stories) almost as if they thought their audience might believe it.

Does anyone know if this idea of a President knowing what he's talking about...

...will catch on, or is it just a fad?

Lamont to co-chair national task force on pandemic response

Source: AP News

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont and Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee have been appointed to co-chair a national task force designed to coordinate the response of states to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Lamont, a Democrat, and Lee, a Republican, will lead the new National Governor Association’s Pandemic and Disaster Response Task Force, which is charged with advocating for the states on issues such as the distribution of vaccines, testing supplies and personal protective equipment.

“Throughout this unprecedented crisis, I have worked with my neighboring governors to ensure our responses were coordinated,” Lamont said in a statement. “We also worked with our federal partners as we responded to multiple severe weather events, and I am eager to exchange ideas and best practices with my fellow governors.”

The task force also will work with federal officials on other natural disasters and issues involving the deployment of the National Guard, cybersecurity and health care.

Capitol Riot Suspect Arrested in DC Airport After Bizarre Series of Events

Source: Washingtonian

John Lolos was arrested at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on January 8 after a series of events that would be difficult to believe in a work of fiction. According to an affidavit, Lolos was thrown off a Delta flight out of Washington for repeatedly shouting “Trump 2020!” as the plane was on the tarmac.

Lolos deplaned and waited at a gate for a rebooked flight. While he cooled his heels, an Officer Braddock of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police was alerted to Lolos’s outbursts, the documents read, but didn’t detain him. But! Braddock happened to take a look at his personal Instagram about 45 minutes later, when he watched a video of the Capitol riot by Trump supporters two days before. He saw someone who looked like Lolos wearing the same shirt he was wearing in the airport, waving two flags hooked together: A US flag, and another that read “Trump 2020 Keep America Great!” In the video, the person who looked like Lolos shouted “We did it, yeah!” after another person shouted, “We stopped the vote!”

Braddock shared his discovery with agents from the US Capitol Police’s Dignitary Protection Division, who were in the airport on other business. They detained Lolos in an airport holding room and, while searching his belongings, discovered the flags, which the affidavit states were still hooked together.

Lolos has been charged with knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, and with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Failed Trump Prophecies Offer a Lesson in Humility

Christianity Today

he failed prophecies of Donald Trump’s reelection may have damaged the credibility of the US independent Charismatic wing of evangelicalism more than any event since the televangelist scandals of the 1980s. They have led some outsiders to criticize Christianity itself and rightly call us to introspection.

Don’t misunderstand me: I’m Charismatic myself, and the majority of Pentecostal and Charismatic pastors I know were not paying attention to such prophecies. Millions of online views and shares, though, show that many people were.

The first step toward correcting mistakes is admitting that we have made them. As we approach the inauguration of President Joe Biden, some who prophesied Trump’s reelection remain adamant that they were correct. Perhaps the election was stolen or will be overturned, or in some mystical realm Trump is actually spiritually president. Some just change the subject. Unfortunately, their hardcore followers may settle for that.

Others acknowledge that prophecy must be tested and, by affirming Biden’s win, now tacitly concede that they were wrong. Yet certain prophets have drawn the attention of Charismatics and non-Charismatics alike by publicly confessing that their prophecies were indeed mistaken and extending their apologies.
