Well, I heard something in the war coverage the other day. About the Russian onslaught. They may manage to take Ukrainian territory. But keeping it is another matter entirely.

if they saw some of mine! Amazing what colorful sequins or a flourish of flowers or a Cousin It cartoon can do for one’s mood!

And it never went further than that.

Wanted to “shake things up.” Just merely for the sake of shaking things up. And toward what end? Do they even know?

Whenever I hear these jerks yowl about wanting to shake things up, I’m reminded of a cartoon I saw years ago that depicted a smoldering ruin of a “landscape” and one solitary figure, covered in tatters and blood and dirt, face full of anger, a fist raised in “righteous” outrage. Standing in smoldering ruins, ever in defiance…

And I think the basic message was about hollow victory - so did you get what you wanted out of this? There’s nothing left but charred ruins, and everyone and everything around you dead, burned, destroyed. Was it worth it? Happy NOW?

We still wear masks most of the time.

I actually like wearing masks. Got some cool ones I enjoy putting on!
