About Me

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.

Good reminder!

Yep-yep-yep!

Cannot waaaaaait!!!

Are there no decent challengers for these assholes?

Especially that cocky, smug Jim Jordan! Dayum he’s nauseating! I’d love to see them lose their jobs but they’d probably Just find new homes at Pox Noise or the Sinclair stations, and we’d never be rid of them.

Those are good ideas!

I remember seeing reports of that kind of subtle activism at bookstores when some GOP SOB came out with a new book.

May they face mountains of lawsuits.

Let’s just say those are MY “thoughts and prayers”.

Shit. I wish people clearly understood what a spoiler candidate is.

God bless Ross Perot for making sure that GHWB and then Bob Dole didn't get enough votes to prevent two terms of Bill Clinton. Unfortunately, Ralph Nader interfered in 2000 making sure some of the Democratic votes that would have gone to Al Gore were siphoned off. That allowed bush/cheney to steal the White House. And in 2016 - well, I've already said plenty about 2016. Let's just say it's fair to include that campaign year here. And I'm old enough to remember when John Anderson ran as an independent, messing things up for Jimmy Carter against Ronald Reagan.

Anderson started out strong, polling especially well on college campuses and among other voters looking for an alternative to Carter, the unpopular Democratic incumbent, and his conservative challenger, Reagan.

I WISH we could get past that third-party crap, at least on our side of the aisle. Should only afflict the GOP, and splinter THEM by Election Day, and not us.

They know full well - the only way they can win is if they CHEAT.

Or otherwise rig the game. Which is cheating.

Karma!

Their front pages have shrieked against Hillary and Bill for years, and fawned and slobbered over trump and his family shamelessly for the last few years.

Low sales?

Gee... guess even the great unwashed aren't clamoring to snap up every last copy of the Enquirer to read all about how wonderful those trumps are and how unfair it is that they're under siege these days. Boo-hoo.

I bet his looks, smarts, and articulate way of speaking will earn him his own TV show.
