We are watching traitors in action. I know that

sounds rash and it is for me. I was happy to delude myself that these folks pushing Trump's case were misguided and maybe greedy and ambitious. But, as I listen to the testimony today, it is clear that Trump's very well educated lawyers know exactly what they are doing. Against every good and decent thing that they have learned in the course of their lives about our democracy, in the face of every benefit it has afforded them, they are not simply chipping away at it, they are taking sledgehammers to it. This is a very, very sad day. This display of disloyalty to the Country turns my stomach and is only a preface of things to come.

Let's not forget in all of this that

Trump withheld military defense funds from an ally that is at war with out enemy and that this particular ally is guarding the doorway to Europe from Russian incursion. That is not only a fact but it is wrong, impeachable and treasonous.

What if...

one of the managers speaking turns and asks the Chief Justice to suspend his/her time until the absent Senators return to their seats?

We are now reading about people in Trump's orbit being afraid for their lives and

it's just business as usual. I'm not just fearing for the US, I'm terrified.

This is worth listening to...

"Time"...Pelosi said that word over and over today. I would add patience and discipline to that. In her quiet, deliberate way, Pelosi is killing Trump with time. His time is running out.

When was the last time, under circumstances like this, that a President didn't address the Nation?
