Kentucky Governor reports highest growth rate in 31 years.

https://www.nolangroupmedia.com/beattyville_enterprise/kentucky-just-reported-the-highest-annual-growth-rate-in-31-years/article_4380ccca-03a8-11ed-a1bd-f366fcd247a8.html

Kentucky’s record-breaking economic momentum continues as Gov. Andy Beshear today announced that Kentucky’s fiscal year 2022 General Fund receipts grew at the highest rate in 31 years.

The Office of State Budget Director reported 14.6% growth over last year and noted that General Fund receipts totaled $14.7 billion, exceeding the budgeted estimate by $945.4 million. This is the second-highest revenue surplus ever – surpassed only by last year’s record amount – and the budget surplus is expected to be even higher once the books are closed on spending later this month.

“One of my most important jobs as Governor is to ensure the financial strength and solvency of our great commonwealth – essentially to make sure our financial house is in order,” Gov. Beshear said. “These receipts show that personal income, sales and business income are all going up significantly, and even our road fund is up. My administration has now delivered the highest and second-highest revenue surpluses in the history of Kentucky, thanks to strong fiscal management and a hot, record-breaking economy.”

Warning to America: Defend It or Lose It

America - Close your eyes. Close your ears. You will not see. You will not hear. You will die.

Can it be made any more clear?

There are enemies, foreign and domestic, intent on destroying the America we have known for two-hundred and forty-six years.

It may not matter to you? You may hate America already? Look at all her sins of the past. Look at all the bad things she has done.

Still, people wanted to come to America. There was something different about America than any other place in the world. Despite all her flaws, you could make a better life and do what you wanted to do. It didn't really matter where you began. America was unique to everyone else around the world, whether or not they would admit it.

Now you, as an American, have to make a choice. Do you want America to survive or do you want America to die?

That is the choice that you face at this moment.

What are you going to do?

How much more is America willing to tolerate?

How much more lying? How much more cruelty? How much more deceit? How much more criminality?

If they want Donald Trump as their President, then let them have him. We beat him once and we will beat him again. If they want to be like Trump, then let them.

We will take the question to America again. People can decide at the ballot box.

The insanity cannot continue. It must end at some time.

If we cannot defeat the lies and criminality, then we deserve just what we get.

I'll see you at the polls. Vote for who you are.

How serious of a crime was the attack upon our Capitol and the attempted coup?

Is it a crime that should be prosecuted?

Is it worse than jay-walking but short of mass murder?

Where would we place the insurrection of January 6th on the crime scale?

Is it just a minor infraction and not worthy of an investigation?

Or does it depend on whether or not it is "too political" and "too divisive"?

Is that a silly question to ask?

Was it not even a crime? Was it legitimate public protest?

Should it be prosecuted or not?

Does the Committee interrogate Patrick Byrne today?

What questions should they ask him?

Why were you with the group at the White House at midnight, the day before the insurrection?

Who invited you? Did you come as a guest of Rudy?

When was the last time you talked with Maria Butina?

When was your last visit to Russia?

Were you acting as a representative of Vladimir Putin in any way on the night of January 5th?

Have you donated more to the Trump campaign than the "Pillow Guy"?

It seems like the type of witness where the FBI might want to sit in on the meeting.

Is the story about Secret Service's deletion of text messages a diversion?

Otherwise, why has it taken so long to learn about it? Why now?

There's something a little shady about the whole story, in my opinion.

It's to take the attention away from something else.

Just my opinion.

Bob Woodward on Morning Joe: "Battle Royale" going on in Justice Department...

...over whether or not to indict Donald Trump.

Surprisingly, the cast did not pursue it to any extent.

However, many have suspected for many years that the employees in the Justice Department lean Republican in their political affiliation.

Could this explain why Garland has not acted on the evidence that has come forward? If the FBI and the DOJ are divided over what should be done about Trump, it could be very corrosive for the work environment, one might think?

Regardless, it was an interesting comment by Woodward. I wonder if we will hear more about it?
