kentuck's Journal187 minutes of "inactivity" or 187 minutes of "activity"?
Perhaps he was just "active" on something besides responding to Congressmen and Senators and trying to get the National Guard to protect and clear the Capitol?
Perhaps he was on the phone with the "war room"? Maybe he was talking with Rudy or Bannon or General Flynn or Roger Stone?
Perhaps he was following the progress of the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers and his people inside the Capitol?
Perhaps he had more important priorities than protecting the Congress and his Vice-President?
Does anyone know for sure that he was watching television all the time and doing nothing else? Was he on the phone talking to "somebody" as he watched TV?
Did he go into the Oval Office alone to make phone calls to his generals in the "war room"?
What were the people in the "War Room" doing as the insurrection was taking place at our Capitol?
Just because Trump was not talking to anybody at the Capitol or calling in the National Guard does not mean he was not talking to anyone.
GOP hoax on America.
And much of America is oblivious.
Or else, they think it is only "politics".
But the truth is that the GOP is deceiving voters into believing they are a mainstream political Party. They are not. They are extremists more than willing to relieve Americans of their rights and freedoms.
They are willing to obstruct the truth and to obstruct the law to achieve their political goals.
They are very effective at vilifying and portraying the Democrats as evil politicians trying to force their way on the American people. They lie continuously and get away with it. Mostly because they control the narratives of the Big Media companies.
As Americans are lulled into a false sense of security, they are at risk of losing everything they have fought for, including their country.
They dare not think that a political Party would pull such a hoax on them.
If we don't have justice...
...then we have nothing.
We don't have a democracy. We don't have a Bill of Rights. We don't have a workable government.
If we don't have justice, then we don't have a country.
If we were to surrender justice, then we would surrender everything.
What was happening in the "war room" as the insurrection was going on?
Have you heard any reports?
Did they go silent for 187 minutes, also?
All of the Trump insiders were located in the Willard Hotel up to January 6th, including Rudy, Roger, Bannon, and General Flynn. They were the HQs for the entire "operation".
The Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, was communicating with them on the night of January 5th?
Are we to believe they did nothing as the attack upon our Capitol was taking place?
Seems curious to me.
Why Trump called off his mob at 4:17 pm?
He was not talked into it. He did not do it because he thought it was the right thing to do.
He had gotten a message that Mike Pence had usurped his authority and called out the National Guard to "clear the Capitol". He did not have the people or the weapons in place to defeat the National Guard.
His plan was to declare "martial law".
The timeline:
At 2:12 pm, VP Pence was rushed off the Senate floor as the mob flooded inside.
Twelve minutes later, at 2:24pm, Trump tweeted, "Mike Pence didnt have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify,.
At 3:36pm, Kayleigh McEnany, tweeted that Trump had just called in the NG...We now know some of this is not true... We now know Trump was not the one who called in the NG, Pence did. Pence would have called them a few minutes earlier and someone informed Trump, who then informed McEnany to put out the tweet that he (Trump) was the one calling out the National Guard.
At 4:08pm, Pence placed an urgent phone call from the Capitol as rioters pummeled police and vandalized the building, informing Miller the Capitol was not secure and asking military leaders for a deadline for securing the building, according to a document prepared by the Pentagon for internal use that was obtained by The Associated Press.
Clear the Capitol, Pence had told them.
Nine minutes later, at 4:17 pm Trump, knowing that his mob was not in place and was going to be defeated and embarrassingly beaten down, tweeted his video message to his mob:
"I know your pain. I know your hurt," he begins. "We love you. You're very special. You've seen what happens. You've seen the way others are treated. ... I know how you feel, but go home, and go home in peace."
Around the same time, Maryland and Virginia were sending National Guard and state troopers to the District of Columbia. Trump and his mob retreated.
I sincerely believe this is what happened.
When anybody can become a US Supreme Court Justice...
...then we end up with a Court like we have today.
For most of our lives we expected a certain balance and a certain bipartisanship that prevented such predictability as we now have on the Court.
It required a certain type of leadership and an innate intelligence to keep the justice system from falling apart.
It required justices that were not married to their political ideology.
We no longer have that.
We no longer have the intelligence or the partisan separation that is needed to maintain trust in our Court system.
The Supreme Court has been corrupted.
It is no longer a legitimate voice for justice in this country.
Just my opinion.
What time does Bannon go before the Judge?
I suppose he is ready for an appeal?
The really good criminals know how to use our justice system to their advantage.
Stone Walls and Steel Bars
"Vote for me so they don't put me in jail".
Rolling Stone is reporting that Donald Trump is motivated to run for president again so he can stop any criminal charges against him.
Wow! What a platform!
"Vote for me so those "Democrats" don't put me and my people in prison."
As if the Justice system is a political revenge machine of the Democratic Party?
As if people go to jail for being Republicans, not because they break the law?
As if the number of people who identify with criminals out-number law-abiding citizens?
This is a political story for the ages.
"Drunk Monkey With A Machine-Gun" Crazy
I heard Malcolm Nance use this descriptive term on the Katie Phang Show on MSNBC.
They were discussing Patrick Byrne, who had been questioned by the Committee on Friday, and Katie called him "whackadoodle".
Malcolm liked that term and said it was much better than just calling them "conspiracy theorists".
He said he was more like a "drunk monkey with a machine-gun crazy".
They were discussing Byrne's off-the-wall ideas and how he was in the White House advising Donald Trump.
But, as we all know, Trump is drawn to crazy like a moth to a flame.
