A Test for Trumpers

True or False?

November 22, 2020

Should Donald Trump be addressed as "Mr President"?

Is the White House a symbol for the People?

King Donald?

Why does he continue to erode our democracy, every time he states that the election is "rigged" or that there is "election fraud"?

He is now saying that he won in a landslide. At last count, he had lost the election by over 6 million votes.

Is he playing with all his marbles?

Should Republicans address this problem?

Should Democrats speak out more? Or would it just fan the flames?

He who hesitates is lost.

That's all I have to say.

Caution in the face of such adversity is cowardice.

Why the House should Impeach?

It certainly isn't a question of whether or not there is enough evidence to impeach. It is solely a political decision.

Many will ask, what about the upcoming election in Georgia? Why would we want to fire up their base before such an important election? However, that is the wrong question. It is a matter of urgency. We have reached a point that can no longer be ignored.

Some short-sighted individuals will argue, why waste our time with this nonsense? The Republicans will never convict. That may very well be true, but is not the issue either. That is nothing but a weak excuse.

We simply cannot wait until Inauguration Day to make a decision. It is irrelevant that he was impeached before. That was then - this is now. They have a duty to defend our Constitution and our democracy from the acts we are now witnessing.

However, the Democratic majority in the House has been cut to a slim majority. Could Pelosi get her members to support another impeachment? In my opinion, she should call each of them individually and get a head count for impeachment.

If she has the votes, then they should impeach him for subversion of our electoral process and any other charges they may wish to add.

Then, they should send it to McConnell's Senate as if it were a hot potato. Put it smack dab in the middle of their laps. Force them to make a decision. Do they wish to be a Party of Trump or a Party for America?

It's a tough decision but doing nothing is not acceptable. This is no time for hand-wringing and wimpy excuses.

Has Trump declared war on the will of the American people?

The people clearly voted against him. At last count, he was behind by slightly more than six million votes.

He wants state legislators to force electors to vote for him. He has met personally with Republicans from Michigan, with plans to meet with those Republicans from Pennsylvania, also.

He is in the middle of his psychotic autocrat dream. He wants a coup. Mostly, he wants to win. It really doesn't matter how he wins, so long as he wins. He doesn't think about any concession.

Republican leaders are doing everything they can do to appease him. But, he has them by the testicles. It is torturous. It is embarrassing that they do not have the courage to rid themselves of this loser.

A bunch of soft, cottony, fluffy snowflakes.

What a bunch of whiners!

Yeah, we'll get our guns if Trump wants us to. We will die for that man.

He was robbed! It was fraud! It doesn't matter what the "fake news" says...

Democrats had to cheat to win.

Their feelings have been hurt tremendously.

It's a sad time. The con artist made them feel so good. And now, they will have to listen to Sleepy Joe Biden.

It will be so boring!

Why cannot the Congress do anything about this scofflaw that is wrecking our Constitution...?

...and ignoring our laws?

Yeah, they tried impeachment. But that was then. This is now.

In my opinion, it is not acceptable to do nothing under these circumstances.

The Congress and the Senate both are given the authority to deal with reckless executives.

They can censure. They can impeach. They can convict. They can publicly criticize with a stern warning to straighten his shit up.

They have the authority. But they don't seem to have the will. They are so covetous of their positions of power that they are willing to overlook the will of the people and our Constitution and laws.

The Congress should have already acted.
