So Donald Trump Just Invited a Hamas Supporter to the Debate Tomorrow Night
...
Malik Obama is a supporter of Hamas, by the way. Above is a photo of Malik Obama at a 2010 conference in Yemen, wearing a Hamas scarf with the slogans, Jerusalem is ours - we are coming, and From the river to the sea.
In 2010 when this photo surfaced, right wing media tried their best to smear Obama with his half-brothers endorsement of Hamas, ignoring the fact that Malik had openly declared his enmity with Barack.

70 Nobel Laureates Endorse Hillary Clinton
Source: Daily Beast
In an open letter released Tuesday and addressed to the American people, 70 Nobel laureates strongly and fully endorsed Hillary Clinton for the presidency. To preserve our freedoms, protect our constitutional government, safeguard our national security, and ensure that all members of our nation will be able to work together for a better future, the letter began, it is imperative that Hillary Clinton be elected as the next President of the United States. The Nobel recipients in economics, physics, chemistry, and medicine suggested that the next president must be someone displaying vigorous support for science and technology and someone with the intent to promote innovation with sensible immigration and education policies to bolster the scientific workforce. Among the signatories were this years economics prize recipient Oliver Hart, and this years chemistry prize winner J. Fraser Stoddart.

Hillary is the "Law & Order" candidate, endorsed by Mariska Hargitay
I can't think of a more succinct rallying cry for the anti-violence movement than Hillary's campaign slogan: Stronger together. We must indeed all work together to dismantle the deeply entrenched societal attitudes that have helped perpetuate this violence for so long, attitudes that have found such a dismaying spokesman during this election cycle.
The challenges we face as a nation in bringing an end to this violence are formidable. We need a Presidentand an administrationwho will not only keep these issues at the forefront of domestic and international policy, but also will hold out a vision for a future free from these crimes. Whether it is arguing for change in how campuses address the epidemic of sexual assault, drawing attention to the use of rape as a weapon of war, or advocating for the criminal justice system to do all that it can to ensure victims of sexual assault have full access to all the tools at law enforcement's disposal, including the mandatory testing of all rape kits, Hillary has a vision and a plan for action. And after a lifetime dedicated to working for the rights of women and girls, her vision and her plan are informed, hard-won, and comprehensive.
...
And yes, Hillary, in case you were wondering, this makes you the "Law & Order" candidate.

Krugman: HRC triggered DT's meltdown with grace and steely resolve
They'll claim that she only won because she had an insane opponent, and/or that she should have won by a bigger margin 2/
But this will be all wrong. First of all, negative partisanship limits the potential margin of any candidate; most Rs vote R regardless 3/
Beyond that, would a white male candidate have exposed Trump so thoroughly? I doubt it. Remember, he slid right by the Matt Lauer types 4/
The turning point came in 1st debate, when HRC set him up, both by her presence and with the strategic cite of Alicia Machado 5/
The point is that Trump didn't just happen to melt down, HRC triggered his meltdown -- and that required grace + steely resolve 6/
Plus of course her gender. So there's a real case that HRC was by far the best person to beat Trump, and bring GOP sickness into the open 7/

Group accuses Mike Pence of voter suppression after state police raid registration program in Indian
Source: Washington Post
A progressive advocacy group is launching an advertising campaign accusing Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who also is the Republican vice-presidential nominee, of allowing voter suppression after state police raided the offices of a voter registration program aimed at signing up African Americans.
Patriot Majority USA will place the ads on black-oriented radio stations and in print and online with black newspapers throughout the state starting Saturday, said the groups director, Craig Varoga. Patriot Majority is affiliated with the Senate Majority PAC, a super PAC that supports Democratic candidates.
On Oct. 4, one week before the states deadline to register to vote, state police raided the Indianapolis office of the Indiana Voter Registration Project, seizing computers, cellphones and records. The state police launched an investigation in late August after elections officials in Hendricks County, a suburb of Indianapolis, alerted authorities to some applications that seemed amiss. A spokesman for the state police told local news media that at least 10 applications were confirmed to be fraudulent.
Varoga estimates that 45,000 people, most of them African Americans, might not be able to vote on Nov. 8 because their applications were seized during the raid. The group has asked the Justice Department to investigate, and the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, an advocate for voting rights, sent a letter to Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson asking her to take steps to ensure that eligible voters who signed up through the voter registration drive will not be disenfranchised.
