Marjorie Taylor Greene makes wild claim that Democrats want Trump to be 'murdered in jail'
2 hours ago Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has wildly claimed, without any evidence, that Democrats want Donald Trump to be murdered in jail. The right-wing lawmaker made the remarks during an interview with Infowars host Alex Jones, in which she suggested that the four criminal cases Mr Trump is facing - including an ongoing trial where he has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts relating to alleged hush money payments - are an intentional effort by his political rivals ...

April 23, 2024, 2:48 PM EDT David Pecker, the former publisher of the National Enquirer, testified at Donald Trump's trial Tuesday that the tabloid completely manufactured a negative story in 2016 about the father of Sen. Ted Cruz, of Texas, who was then Trump's rival for the GOP presidential nomination. FTC Announces Rule Banning Noncompetes
Today, the Federal Trade Commission issued a final rule to promote competition by banning noncompetes nationwide, protecting the fundamental freedom of workers to change jobs, increasing innovation, and fostering new business formation. Noncompete clauses keep wages low, suppress new ideas, and rob the American economy of dynamism, including from the more than 8,500 new startups that would be created a year once noncompetes are banned, said FTC Chair Lina M. Khan. The FTCs final rule to ban ...

AZ-SEN: Kari Lake Wants Arizona Sheriffs to Enforce 1864 Abortion Ban
(Rolling Stone) In the wake of a state Supreme Court decision re-animating the 1864 law that prohibits abortion at any point in pregnancy for any reason except to save the life of the mother, Lake initially issued a statement declaring it abundantly clear that the pre-statehood law is out of step with Arizonans views on abortion. She called on state officials to come up with an immediate common sense solution. Attorney General Kris Mayes (D) had already offered one. The states top law enforcement officer announced her office would not enforce the ban, which snaps back into effect in June. The law declares anyone who provides, supplies, or administers an abortion be punished with up to five years in jail. But, last weekend, Lake suggested county sheriffs should enforce the 1864 abortion ban: We can have that law, but its not going to be enforced with the people we have in office, Lake reportedly told the crowd at a Mohave County Republican Party event.
Bannon says House Republicans secretly want Trump to lose

The conservative pundit tore into House Judiciary Committee chairman, Jim Jordan, arguing that the Ohio Republicans support of Trump has been entirely performative. Dont go on Hannity and tell me everything you are gonna do and send some tweets, Bannon quipped. Nothings happening to support President Trump. Let me repeat that. Nothing, he concluded.
