Happy Father's Day one and all!!!

I was lucky enough to have two fathers. My birth father was born in New York, knew six languages fluently and was the veteran of three wars. More to the point he was very affirmative, kind and encouraging.

I lost him when I was almost too young to remember him. My foster father came to me as I was about to be homeless, an orphan and having the State of WA snatch me up and place me who knows where. He was the pastor of a Lutheran Church, offered me a place to be but more importantly, a family. I loved his humor, energy and sense of service.

We each go through our lives and meet others older, more wise and willing to help guide, nurture and form companionship.

To all of them who father their own chiudren and also children not their own: HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Interesting polling insight into why Biden might be leading - and why his message is what it is.

Digging a bit into the latest CBS News poll on the Democratic nomination and there are some telling numbers that may explain why A) Biden is leading and B) why his message is being crafted the way it is.

You can find the breakdown of the poll here.

Overall, Biden leads the field with 31% of the vote - Warren is second at 17 and Sanders 16. Harris is the only other candidate polling above ten-percent (right at 10%)....

Why the Skittish Caucus is so Skittish About Impeachment.

Democrats who flipped Republican districts in 2018 are a blessing and a curse. They are a blessing because they are crucial to the Democratic majority. They are a curse because they still live in fear of Trump ... just like Republicans do.

They are the SOLE reason that Nancy Pelosi fears undertaking impeachment. Her calculation seems to be that many of these seats ... many of which were won, but won narrowly, thanks to a highly activated democratic vote, a somewhat less activated republican base, and the desertion of suburban Republican women, especially, from the Republican column -- would be lost (and with them the Majority) if the House moves to impeachment. They dare not do anything to supercharge the Republican base or give those wavering defectors the chance to recant and return to the fold. Impeachment would do just that, she seems to think. Or at least her members seem to think. So she hems and haws and tries to balance on a tightrope between the different factions of her caucus....

"They call me the Far Left"?

I was born into a Blue Collar family in Upstate State NY. My original ancestor settled here in the year 1654.

My father was a Marine during the Korean war. After the war he worked on the loading docks for thirty years, until he was crippled by a back injury. Even after his injury my father attempted to go to work. I remember him grunting in pain as he got dressed in the morning. He did this because he felt it was his duty to support his wife and three sons. Eventually, he was no longer able to lift and he was forced to retire. He walked with a painful limp the rest of his life.

My Mother was a housewife. She was the Boss of the Marine and their three sons. What she said, went. The Marine and three sons honored her. She was the rock of the family....

Why is Biden still leading???

It is not just name recognition.. trust me.. people knew and know who Sanders, Warren, Booker, Harris, etc are.. they are learning who Buttigieg and O'Rourke are..

This is purely a personal observation..but looking at primary states where Biden will do the best.. He is the one people feel can actually pull our ashes out of the fires with our allies.. knows all the handles that need to be pulled to get embassies filled etc....

Two "hammers" to use on Trumpies:

Mueller, in the SECOND PARAGRAPH of the introduction to Volume I of his report, states "The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in SWEEPING AND SYSTEMATIC FASHION". (emphasis mine)

In the VERY NEXT PARAGRAPH, he explains that it was the July, 2016 contact by a foreign government relaying the claim of "Trump Campaign foreign policy advisor George Papadopoulos" that Russia had offered "assistance" to the campaign which "prompted the FBI on July 31, 2016 to open an investigation into whether individuals associated with the Trump Campaign were coordinating with the Russian government in its interference activities." NOT THE STEELE DOSSIER!!!

The media should stop quoting Kellyanne Conway, because that would be conspiracy

to break the Hatch Act. It seems fairly simple - when a government office has determined that a government official is breaking the law, no one should be trying to help her do that by broadcasting or writing anything she says. She shouldn't be in her job, and every time they repeat what she says, or give her airtime, they are abetting her.

OK, FoxPravda will continue using her. But the proper media should just say they're ignoring her from now on.
