Donald Trump has built a much larger "wall" than the one imagined on our Mexican border...

It is an invisible "wall".

He has divided our country in such a way that people of different Parties can no longer communicate.

It has become impossible to touch these folks with facts or the truth. They are untouchables....

I cannot bring myself to care about the suffering they will endure

Conservatives exist for the singular purpose of safeguarding their privilege. They abhor any form of egalitarianism. It has evidentially been conservative policy since the 1970’s to exploit the working class. And yet many in the working class persist in voting against their own best interest. Look at Trump and look at Brexit. As things go tits up, the awful outcomes that are presenting themselves as we live through this moment in history, is 100% the fault of people who have voted for it....

NYT/Kavanaugh: How many times do we have to see the same M.O. to recognize it and call it out?

George W Bush went AWOL for the TANG (Texas air national guard) to avoid a piss test
but "they" changed the subject to Dan Rather and the phony memo....

There should be handcuffs.

Another morning has begun with a media review of all the Republicans who will be saying "Fuck you!" to the House, the Democratic party and several centuries of legal precedent.

"Subpoena" means---literally---"under penalty". If a subpoena is not quashed but is simply defied, there is supposed to be a penalty. A common way for a court to enforce their subpoena is to issue a "Rule to Show Cause". The person is given a short date and time at which he or she is to appear in court and explain why he or she should not be held in contempt of court. If no good cause is shown, the person may be found in contempt and fined or even held in custody until they comply with the subpoena....

Some thoughts about the NYT Kavanaugh predator story

1. The NYT removed the new witness' name from the story and may have removed the statement about her friends saying she doesn't remember the incident with it, according to the reporters who wrote the piece. The name was at the beginning of the sentence.

2. Read that last part carefully. It is not the new witness who says she doesn't remember, it is 'her friends' who say she doesn't remember. Despite what Donnie tweets, the new witness has not been interviewed....

The One With Brett Kavanaugh's Junk

So, I enjoyed a much-needed weekend away from the headlines, partaking of good music and good company at this year's Riot Fest. Regrettably, I did not take any drugs while I was there, so I'm forced to conclude all this news I'm catching up on today is tragically real, rather than just the shittiest trip ever. Fuck.

We've all watched Beto O'Rourke emerge as a defiant voice for gun control these last few weeks, (I guess a white supremacist terror attack in your beloved hometown gets under your skin) and naturally the gun nut crowd is displeased. So displeased in fact, that some swollen buttpimple by the name of Briscoe Cain, who, despite a few readily-apparent personality disorders, has become a member of the Texas House of Representatives, threatened to murder him on Twitter. I dunno, if I was arguing to keep assault weapons legal, I would probably avoid making public death threats, but then, I suppose I would also be as malicious, stupid, and crazy as Briscoe Cain....

Jack-o-Lantern

So, now the ignorant bellicose chest-pounding moron is "locked & loaded"...

and ready for yet another middle east war, now in defense of Saudi Arabia’s oil fields.

Didn't we supply the Saudis (9/11 perpetrators) with billions of dollars’ worth of arms, bombs, fighter jets, etc. over the years for their own defense?? No, we have to invade Iran for them....

War with Iran

The Toddler has said that if we go to war with Iran in defense of Saudi Arabia, the Saudis will have to pay us for it. That turns our military into mercenaries who will not benefit financially in any way. But I'll bet The Toddler somehow does. Money is his God. That and stroking his ego is all that matters.

When someone tells you they are a "libertarian" what do they mean?

I am talking about in 2019. As far as I can tell, someone who tells you that they are a "libertarian" means that they are going to vote for Trump but don't want admit it.

However, that's my view. What do you think it actually means in today's world?
