I spent lunchtime watching old videos of Joe Biden on YouTube...

All sorts of things. All bringing a smile. All great reminders of what a profoundly good, caring person Joe Biden is.

Everything from a cute interaction with his dog during a CBS interview three years ago

to a blunt attack on Trump early last year on CNN

to his receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Obama

and the 2012 DNC video biopic.

I looked at videos about his bromance with President Obama

and Michelle and Jill talking about their husbands' bromance (and their own friendship).

I want to see Joe and Jill in the White House...and their good friends Barack and Michelle visiting often.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I really really want to see Joe Biden run, and win. About 15 years ago I read his autobiography, everyone should read it to see what kind of man he is and what he's gone through in his life (this was before Beau).

He is one of the genuinely good guys. Not perfect by any means, but one who has shown both his depth of life experiences--and that he learns from them.

He is TOO nice. I'm tired of being nice. Joe thinks he has lots of friends in Washington. He doesn't seem to get it that NO REPUGS are his friends.
And only because I feel like it is REQUIRED to say this in every post on this part of the forum, I WILL VOTE FOR HIM IF HE IS THE NOMINEE. I would vote for a slug if that slug had a D behind it's name. And it would have more brains than the R.

good, compassionate, NICE person. Who can fight when a fight is needed, but is not MEAN.

And that's JUST what we need after Trump.

Only the real deplorables like Trump's viciousness. Most people find Trump's behavior contemptible, and we aren't likely to win by rejecting candidates who seem nice.

trump wants to run against sanders and is afraid of Joe Biden

The Republican Party would love to run against Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) because they could make the election all about Sanders and socialism instead of Trump. They want to run against Buttigieg because they think they can use his sexual orientation and youth against him.

The person that Trump can’t figure out is Joe Biden. Trump has tried the “Sleepy Joe” attack but has flopped. Trump has now moved on to trying to attack Biden’s populism by coining him “1% Joe.” This also won’t work, especially coming from Donald Trump. Trump fears Biden’s populism and former vice president’s appeal in Rust Belt states.

Biden scares Trump, and that fear is never more obvious than when Trump starts talking about his potential opponents in 2020.

There are those who believe Joe Biden's popularity is due to name recognition as if it is a flawed reason for supporting him. I contend that Joe's name recognition is an asset simply because of the stellar reputation that goes along with it. World leaders, especially our allies, support Joe Biden and will feel confidence and comfort in knowing that they are dealing with someone they are very familiar with. That confidence and comfort will show America that he can make monumental strides in healing the damage done worldwide by the corrupt trump administration. These are some of the reasons I am supporting him. Hang in there.

I think the country is more than ready to elect a decent, honorable man, a man who can set aside ideological buzz words for true compassion and caring and setting things right, someone who is mad as hell over what's happened in this country, infuriated over how people are being treated, how cruelty and inhumanity has stained the presidency and is ready to take on the fight, take the brawl directly to Donald Trump.

Joe Biden is undoubtedly the most qualified and experienced candidate. He's a skilled politician who knows how to get things done, and he's the only candidate with foreign policy chops. God knows we're going to need a major repair/heal job with our friends abroad. Biden can get that done.

More than that, he's a man with a big heart while possessing the spirit of a scrappy, backstreet fighter. He'll fight for all of us and he'll make Donald Trump look as small and weak as he really is.

Looking forward to Wednesday's kickoff.

Go Joe!
