Mayor Pete's Announcement:

I was quite moved at the grace and erudition of Mayor Pete. Wonderful announcement. My foster Brother, Sister in Law and Nephew were up on the stage behind him!

If I were to vote in a presidential

I did see him turn pages now and then, but it was done with subtlety.

building. You could see water on the podium and see drops landing on the speakers. At one point someone came out and dried the TelePrompTer screens, but another 30-minutes passed by before Pete spoke. I didn’t see him look anywhere near the screens during his announcement - but he glanced at the papers - which he shook when he got to the podium as if he was shaking water off.

He didn't mention Trump and he was not talking campaign and cultural defense. He is sounding the same alarm as the other candidates with more confidence and optimism. I hope he has set a tone that will guide the primary process.
