(15,515 posts)building. You could see water on the podium and see drops landing on the speakers. At one point someone came out and dried the TelePrompTer screens, but another 30-minutes passed by before Pete spoke. I didnt see him look anywhere near the screens during his announcement - but he glanced at the papers - which he shook when he got to the podium as if he was shaking water off.

(13,390 posts)He didn't mention Trump and he was not talking campaign and cultural defense. He is sounding the same alarm as the other candidates with more confidence and optimism. I hope he has set a tone that will guide the primary process.
