Bernie is "assessing"

Which is good.

1. He needs to assess how to gracefully get out.

This is how a Sanders administration would be. Stubbornly ignoring facts, incapable of accepting political reality. Rushing toward failure rather than working together with others toward success. Trudging onward in a no-hope situation, pursuing a lost cause no matter what the cost, no matter how much damage it causes, no matter how much it weakens our party, and giving false-hope to donors and gladly accepting their donations under false pretenses.

3. That may be what his campaign manager means

I recall Warren was "assessing" the day after Super Tuesday, and she withdrew the next day, sadly.

13. Will he do the right thing for the good of the Democratic Party? Don't count on it.

He has the same mentality as Trump in that he will never admit that he is wrong, wrong, wrong. That is the principle reason that he had virtually no support by his fellow senators. He has fed his followers with unreasonable expectations that would have the same track record as his dismal success in the congress. What a couple of post offices named and other shoe-in bills. I keep reminding those I have contact with that he proposed the same policies as Trump in regard to tariffs and trade agreements. He just doesn't seem to comprehend that manufactures are going to maximize the profits and when you can take advantage of significant lower labor costs that there is little to nothing that you can do about it except maybe boycotts and tariffs that will have the same effect that Trump's insanity has produced.

4. Well all he has is toxic advisors and surrogates so don't hold your breath.

Seems no one in the inner circle cares about his legacy.

They just want to Bern it all down. Thatís all they ever wanted.

16. If he could hold rallies he would plow through, no question

in my mind. But he canít and thereís no horserace to keep the primary top-of-mind so his campaign faces a pretty advanced state of irrelevancy.

5. He assessed after Super Tuesday II

flew home, scheduled a presser, got in front of the mic and . . . claimed he was winning and promised to fight on.

disrupt and bully, he might as well hang it up.

7. What is there to assess?

He was defeated soundly and fairly.

It is like a guy who dived from a plane saying "I am assessing whether to open the parachute"

9. Come on Bernie...

it is time to get out of the race and unite the party. Ask you die-hard supporters to vote for Joe. This is about our democracy right now and not a revolution that continues to not show up at the polls.

We need to defeat Trump!!!!!!

When the best you can do is the high thirties in a one on one match-up, you are not a viable candidate.

Thanks for playing!

Whatever stature and respect he could have had, is rapidly diminishing... he's playing a very dangerous game and will soon find himself irrelevant and a persona non grata.

This is a dangerous game he's playing. He needs to get out now.

19. Even So It's Hard to Believe He Doesn't Feel He Owes His Supporters a Statement After Each Primary

This is the second set of primaries where he passes on making a statement. I think it's bad form and you'd think someone with influence would explain to him that optics matter and he should at least thank them for coming out to vote for him in challenging circumstances.

23. i read "assessing" to be "PROCESSING"...u know, as in the processing patients do in therapy

for the trauma they've experienced. I'm sure the past 3 Super Tuesdays routs has dealt serious body blows to Bernie so he's left with no devices but to process.
