(3,808 posts)Some of the questionable hires hes made have dampened that a bit but Ive always been aligned with him on most policies. I just dont think hes the best bet to win in 2020. Thats the only thing Im interested in for this election.

(714 posts)I voted for him in the Primaries and then went on to vote for Hillary (with a fair amount of enthusiasm in the General election). I am forever grateful for the direction Bernie took the Democratic party. Its where the majority of the American people are, once they stop freaking out over labels that are used to describe their position, like socialism.
So, why isnt Bernie my front runner this time around?
I think we need to move on. There are too many hurt feelings and negative vibes that linger from Election 2016. Fortunately, there has been a new Blue Wave since then. In order to have a second wave to reinforce the House and take over the Senate, we will need to tap into that same combination of feminine and youthful energy that was the main driving force behind the first wave. I can't see an older white male candidate leading that charge.
