Wouldn't it be great to have Pete and Amy on stage and then bring out Harris and declare her the VP choice?

(148,200 posts)Really, I think he's going to give the VP nod to Amy, in the end, but not until the Convention.

(148,200 posts)He needs someone who has gotten a lot of good publicity during the campaign. Klobuchar would help in the Midwest, too. Finally, in 2024 or 2028, she will have gained some executive branch experience to go with her Senate experience. She has been a Senator as long as Bernie has.
I think she's the logical VP choice, actually. There's a position on Biden's cabinet for Buttgieg, too. I don't know what it is. And, then there's Elizabeth Warren. I'm thinking she would be a really, really good Treasury Secretary, you know. I wonder if she'd like to do that for the next four years?
Harris? Well, let's see....she was Attorney General of California, now, wasn't she? That sounds really interesting, doesn't it?

(66,968 posts)weird feeling if Biden comes out on top Harris will be asked to be his VP. Elizabeth Warren who I really admire, would be great too.

(773 posts)It would give another target for the GOP. Everyone has some baggage and we don't need to load that truck up.

The VP choice gives the nominee press coverage and a boost right before the convention, no need to waste it away now when the Democratic Party is closing ranks around him

Why are so many trying to remove females from the U.S. Senate?
Amy, Elizabeth and Kamala already have important jobs.

(2,706 posts)Joe needs moderate suburban women. And they are going to want to see a woman on the ticket. Not more white guys.
There will be plenty to choose from.

(2,706 posts)She should have picked Sherrod Brown. But she didnt want to lose a senate seat. So she picked Kaine. Who excited nobody.
Biden needs every woman he can get. He needs to pick one as VP to aid in getting them.
