With Pete out I'm bummed as hell
I'm almost checked out. A forward looking party and we are going to left with over 70, white career politicians. I'm stunned our young, progressive candidates never caught traction. Americans are sick of life long politicians.
We win historically with young. DC outsiders. I'll support whoever but I'll be honest, and many of my under 45 friends say the same, the fire isn't there anymore.

I have spent my whole life looking out for others, maybe it’s time to start looking inward and worry about myself and my family.

The boring middle-of the road candidates do keep doing that whether it's Kerry and Clinton or McCain and Romney. It's quite an interesting dilemma.

13. Please. A preponderance of the voting public do not invest their time into researching
and learning about candidates.
They get their info from TeeVee ads and drift in and out of the process just enough to keep themselves marginally informed. Thus earning the moniker of low information voters ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Undecided |

I was hoping for a candidate in their 40s or 50s. Pete is young and could use some more real-world experience, but he was promising. I'd like to see him stay active politically.

10. Pete is a rising up and comer in the party.
And I have to believe that there will be a cabinet position for him, should the Democratic nominee win the presidency.
If not, I’d like to see him challenge Todd Young for the open Indiana Senate seat in 2022, serve a term as senator then run again for president in 2028. I think the biggest problem he ran into was people were scared of his lack of experience, and 6 years as a senator would help that immensely. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

I'm sure establishment Democrats pressured him to do this before Super Tuesday, but it sucks. Buttigieg performed better than Biden in every state but South Carolina.
I would have preferred Buttigieg over Biden as the nominee. Biden represents the past and Buttigieg gave us a view of the future! Great campaign Pete! Nothing to be ashamed of. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Undecided |

14. Take heart. I really do understand, bt a lot of us are looking for experience, right now.
Pete is a star, no doubt about that, and his time will come. But my concerns, right now, are that we need someone who will be up and running, who is already know, respected and with a recognized reputation for being capable, along with loads of national and international experience. We really can't afford any kind of a learning curve.
I met with a Pete supporter, yesterday. I told her that if things weren't in such a nightmarish mode, there's a good chance I would have thrown my support behind Pete. Your time will come, but only if we can save the nation. I'm hoping Pete will be a part of the administration that does just that. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE stay involved! ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

THANK YOU for your example. In the midst of your disappointment, you still expressed your support for someone else to beat Trump. I have a tremendous amount of respect for that. You’re a damn good American and a damn good Democrat. Chances are looking slim for my candidate and if she has to drop out, I hope I can follow your lead. Put them out on an ice floe. Nobody over 45 should be allowed to run for president.
![]() Yet strangely, people keep voting for them... Could it be because this isn't their first rodeo and they've faced serious crises before? Seriously, I love Buttigieg. He has a great future ahead of him and I hope he goes for it. But there is something to be said for experience, too, especially when the country is in the multiple messes it's in now on account of being run by an idiot with no experience at all (the reason Trump sucks has little to do with his age and everything to do with his total ignorance of how government works, plus whatever it is that's been wrong with him since he was a teenager). ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

and was sad to see them go, starting with Inslee, Kamala, then Beto and Castro. When Cory Booker left the race I hardly heard a word about it but it saddens me as well.
Take heart. I lost any doubt about Elizabeth Warren's fitness when I saw a video of her outracing a news crew at a train station. She is older, but in great shape for her age! And she is progressive and in my opinion really cares about the people. So does Biden, but imo Bernie is much more concerned for himself and his ego. never should have run again if you ask me. please don't check out. we need a massive turnout in November. massive.
