Hillary was a more formidable candidate than Joe Biden.
Hillary was (and is) smarter, far more politically savvy, less prone to making gaffes, more in touch, was full of good policy ideas and had a wider appeal than Joe Biden.
Hillary couldn’t beat Trump. What makes any of you think that Joe Biden will do better than Hillary Clinton?

1. Hillary was hated by the right.
She still got more votes.
As to why Biden can win, see the moderates taking the house in 2018. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

4. Hillary was maligned and smeared by some of our own
She was the most admired woman in 2015
Then in 2016, she was labeled corrupt by some ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

5. Likability.
Hillary had been vilified by the right since 1992. Biden is well liked across the board.

6. Because no one is going to buy Republican/Russian/Green Party shit this time around.
They shouldn't have bought their shit last time around, but alas, here we are.
In case you forgot, there have been elections since 2016. And in 2018, the Joe Biden/Hillary Clinton types were the ones flipping seats and winning back the House on the back of the greatest voter turnout for a midterm in around a century. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

9. I don't think so. On paper she was stronger than Obama and she was beaten
On paper, she was stronger than Trump but she started wasting time and money in Arizona and other red states rather than concentrate in Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Biden, no matter his flaws, connects viscerally with white working class Dems, African American Dems and independents. If he gets past Sanders, he will steam roll Trump on the electoral map. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

11. I agree with part of your assessment.
She is much more intelligent than Biden, but she suffered from the cumulative effect of years of vicious criticism, and misogyny. But here is the thing: I am very worried about Biden winning, because I think he is suffering from cognitive decline. If people want someone to the right of Bernie, why don’t they support Amy? She is smart, competent, and effective.
