Bloomberg would fall somewhere between Hillary and Trump, but would be 100% improvement on Trump.

Of course you can't really "get money out of the process", but it's not gonna be a fair vetting of who our national leader should be if one candidate gets treated differently because he has such overwhelming financial resources that he, as one citizen, can manipulate the system and demand favorable treatment.

for years on climate change and gun control and creating opportunities for kids from poor neighborhoods. He will still be working on those things if he loses.

Why would he lie about his willingness to support the eventual candidate, when lying would turn away the very people who help him with his lifelong pet projects?

Republicans are already gearing up to suppress the black vote in Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina. Nominating Bloomberg would make their job 10 times easier
