Fri Feb 28, 2020, 11:39 AM

I hope to bid a farewell to

Mr Steyer, Mr Bloomberg and Ms Gabbard in about 36 hours.

Tulsi, you can go ahead and audition for your FOX reader job. Tom and Mike, please keep spending the big bucks to go after the Orange Menace.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

1. Tulsi has been auditioning for Bernie's running mate. Fox is the backup.

14. If I had to venture a prediction...

...I'd say it would be due to something terrible coming out of his mouth hole.

16. I'm sure everything is being combed through to find something to use

against him. There's probably a good deal of material there, he is not exactly a "woke" sort of guy.

17. I doubt it.

This isn't exactly the search for the Holy Grail, bruh. I can't walk down the hall to take a piss without tripping over some stupid shit Mike Bloomberg said.

18. Well, what mitigates that somewhat is that the other top candidates have

said some remarkably stupid things as well. If we eliminated people by stupid remarks, we'd have no one.

3. Gabbard gets so few votes that her dropping out won't mean anything. Bloomberg...

...will probably stay in for quite a while longer, though personally, if he gets fewer votes than Biden on Super Tuesday, I think it would be better if he dropped out. But it also seems unlikely based on this...

6. Bloomberg can afford to stay in.

Candidates drop out when they run out of money. That's not going to be Bloomberg's problem.

8. Right. But if Bloomberg is sincere about doing what's best to help us win...

...it's not impossible that--depending on how various other candidates are doing--he could choose to drop out despite money being no issue, i.e. if he thinks his presence in the race is becoming more divisive than helpful. Not likely, but not impossible.

The graphic showed that Tulsi had 3 votes. Not 3%, 3 total votes.

12. Bloomberg won't drop out.

Best we can hope for is that he fizzles on Super Tuesday and becomes a non-factor going forward.

13. Bloomberg won't do anything until March 4.

He has not been on any ballot so far, but will be on 14 ballots in 14 states on March 3.

So, your hopes will not be realized, I'm afraid. No candidate who has more than a few delegates already will drop out until after Super Tuesday.

15. There is no way Bloomberg is dropping out before Super Tuesday.

The only way he is dropping out would be if he does epically bad on Super Tuesday. I suspect that he will do well enough that he will stay in until the Convention because I think he likes the attention.
