Gallop and Socialists
The survey, conducted from Jan. 16-29 among 1,033 adults, found 53 percent said that they would not vote for their party nominee if they were a, "generally well-qualified person for president who happened to be socialist."

1. Republicans tar all Democrats as socialists
and recently increasingly as communists. Anyone who that argument works on will not vote for a Democrat.

4. Republicans will turn anyone we nominate into anything they want
Remember swift-boating John Kerry? Remember Max Cleland? The argument that "What will republicans say about our candidate" is the weakest reason to support or not support anyone.

13. Bernie provided a perfectly good answer for that
and you know it.
The savings on insurance more than offsets any tax increase. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Undecided |

6. It only sticks to one. Bernie. He is a Socialist
It didn’t stick to Obama because he is not one.

7. Keep in mind the number is only that high because of all the Republicans in the poll,
and we don't have most of their votes anyway.
