It's not mathematically possible for us to win 2/3 in EITHER house. Here's why. CalFione Feb 2020 #5

A) There's 23 GOP Senate seats up for re-election. The Democrats would have to win 20 of the 23 seats to get to 67. In the history of the country, there's never been a wave that big - and there won't be this time. A reasonable goal is gaining 5 or 6 seats.

B) Due to gerrymandering, there's no possible way for Democrats to get to 292 House seats (They currently have 238). A gain of +54 seats - with so little swing districts being currently held by the GOP - is not feasible.

to impeach. We do need a 2/3 majority in the Senate. But that 2/3 does not have to be Democrats. Just 2/3 of the votes. They can belong to either party.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
