Pete Buttigieg says if Trump loses election and refuses to leave White House, he could 'do chores'

Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg has joked that Donald Trump could “do chores” were he to lose this year’s election and refuse to leave the White House.

Mr Buttigieg was speaking at a campaign event in Reno, Nevada, on Monday, when he was asked what he would do if Mr Trump did not accept a victory by the Democrats in November’s election.

The former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, gained laughter and applause from the audience when he said: “If he won’t leave, I guess if he’s willing to do chores, we can work something out.”

While the election is due to take place in November, the inauguration ceremony will not be held until January.

Just require he wear a cute little maid's outfit while working and that would get him to leave.

Now get that visual out of your mind's eye.

If Secret Service wanted to carry him out tied to a pole I wouldn't object to that.

Of course, there WILL be a lot of fumigation and surface cleaning required after he is sent packing, so Don Jr., Ice Princess, Moron and the evil twins of Jared and Stephen Miller could certainly scrub some toilets and bathroom floors too!

No servants, no staff. The new President could stay somewhere else and ignore him. That would make him nuts.

At the inauguration, after being sworn in, turn to Trump and state, “Commander in Chief, you are relived.” The military will know what that means.

But I hope people behind the scenes realize this could actually happen. Don’t discount the possibility of Trump just refusing to accept that he lost. And before you laugh and say that could never happen... how many times have we said that in the last 3 years and been wrong? He keeps “joking” about 3rd, 4th, 5th terms. Are we prepared for the possibility he may need to be dragged out? This is not a man preparing for a peaceful transition of power.

If Trump loses whomever moves into the WH better count the silver and anything else of value before Trump leaves.
