Which candidate do you think is bringing in the most "new voters" ?

Or are all of them just recycling old voters?

As a hypothetical, do you think Hillary would have done much better last election if she had chosen Bernie Sanders as her VP rather than Tim Kaine of VA?

Is it good or bad to be able to bring in new voters to a Party?

Do you believe Donald Trump is bringing in new voters to vote for him?

What is your opinion?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

...in their primary last week.

That may be indirectly true. More people turned out than in 2016 but most of them voted against Sanders. He got about 150,000 votes in 2016, only 75,000 this year. It appears he inspires people to vote, but not for the reason people would like us to think.

You can only vote "for" people, and Bernie got the most votes "for" him in NH. And in Iowa.

Most do, actually. This idea that everyone who votes for, say, Pete must dislike, say, Amy, is just bizarre. Actually, most Pete voters would enthusiastically support Amy, and vice versa. It's just that, for whatever reason, they decided that they liked Pete more. If Pete dropped out, I'm sure a lot of his voters would go on to support Amy (or another candidate), and I can't imagine very many at all would do so "grudgingly".

A vote for Pete is not a vote "against" Amy or Bernie or Biden or anyone else. It's a vote for Pete.

He never lead in head-to-head polling in 2016. He's more liked this time than last time. Obviously, with six candidates in the field, the number of voters who have Bernie as their first choice is going to be lower. But overall he's doing better than 2016.

if dems nominate a woman the woman haters will head for trump. if dems nominate a gay man the gay haters will migrate to trump. if dems nominate a socialist from Our Revolution, the socialist haters will migrate to trump. etc etc etc

And like it or not, Bernie is bringing in new voters and will do so in the general.

We need more women and African Americans to turn out.

A Warren- Abrams ticket would crush Trump and deliver House and Senate majorities. She would get Sanders’ voters and support, Abrams will increase black turnout and the message will be anti corruption.

Just like 1992’s “it’s the economy, stupid” it will be “it’s the corruption, stupid”.
