Bloomberg just now: "Where I come from we measure a man's height from the neck up."

Bloomberg was addressing a crowd or gathering, and he was responding to Trump's "mini-Mike" attack on his height.

His jest received a lot of laughter.

The closer I get to actually switching from Joe to Mike. Joe's good, Mike is looking better. Not too much about Mike's past that trump can target compared to any other politician. He'd, pretty much have a free hand to exploit all of trump's blunders with little blow back from trump.

So, for now Mike is my candidate. He's super tough, super smart...an actual NY billionaire...he's everything Trump pretends to be, but isn't. I love that he's willing to fight fire with fire. In a perfect world, I'd go for probably Warren, but we need to win this thing, not take some kind of theoretical higher ground. My thinking is pragmatic: I think Bloomberg can win--and I think he can humiliate Trump in a way that other candidates can't.

Another point is ... the moneyed-interests in this country are going to keep their money in their pockets if Bloomberg is our nominee. IOW, not give a shit-ton to Trump out of fear of the Democrat. They will size up Bloomberg as being just as concerned with maintaining the economy and growth as they are. After all ... he's got $60B to protect.

Sheldon Adelson will trust Bloomberg to keep Israel well-protected as well. I'm sure he'll give a ton to Senate races, but he might decide he doesn't need to prop up grifter Trump.

Trumps big money sources drying up and having to face a man who's everything he's always wanted to be, but isn't ... would drive him over the edge.
