Bernie is all over the news today. Could it be that all the talk about Bernie being deliberately

ignored by the billionaire-owned mainstream news media that we heard from Bernie's side of reality just a week or so ago is nothing but a silly conspiracy theory? Is it conceivable that Bernie was ignored before because he wasn't making any news and now he is being covered left and right (pun not intended) because he is making the news?

This reminds me: I think the media is not giving as much attention to Buttigieg, the winner of the Iowa caucuse, because he represents the REAL threat to MSM and its billionaire puppet masters. Makes sense, no?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

today? And how does it square with the silly conspiracy theory that Bernie is being ignored by them?

BTW, please stop making my point for me. If you maintain that Buttigieg is a friend of MSM, explain why he is not all over the media like Beernie is, even though he came in first in Iowa. That's AHEAD of Bernie.

That's why they are both all over the MSM -- MSNBC just ran an interview with Pete. Kind of hard to ignore Bernie after he gets the most votes.

The very fact that you have come to believe that Pete "came in first" in Iowa, even though totals are not all in yet, and Bernie got the most votes, is an indication of the effect of the media downplaying Bernie. I mean, presumably you got that mistaken information from the MSM, right?

and Buttigieg is ahead in votes.

This is hardly spin from MSM, it's the numbers reported by precincts. I have not come to believe anything, I am looking up the numbers. I hope that eventually you will start doing the same.

And despite Buttigieg remaining on top since the first reports came in, Sanders is getting the bulk of media attention. I don't think "downplaying" means what you think it means.

I agree with you, it's kind of hard to ignore Bernie when he makes the news. Likewise, it is kind of easy to ignore him when he is not. No silly conspiracy theory needed to explain the obvious.

With this in mind, please go back to my OP and re-read it. Thank you.

Bernie being second in the poll and... drum roll please... being placed second on the displayed graphic? That's so unfair!
But let's forget your non-example. Please respond to my post: given that Bernie is all over the news today as a newsmaker, are you still holding on to the conspiracy theory that he is being ignored by MSM?

Here's the thing: even though there's NOT a "Bernie Blackout"... the BS campaign wants people to believe that there's an organized blackout. I think they're hoping that some gullible folks in the media will then try to over-compensate by giving EXTRA coverage to the BS campaign to make up for the "blackout".

It's all a game.

18. Here is the reality of what Sanders supporters are thinking (article link inside)
Thu Feb 6, 2020, 11:01 AM
Feb 2020

And those continuing to send negative comments about Bernie and his supporters are contributing to what could become a real problem come November where what happened in 2016 can happen again. Many Bernie supporters felt they had been pushed aside and mistreated in 2016, in retaliation they decided to stay home, or worst vote for the creature, we need to stop the negative comments because we are going to end up shooting ourselves on the foot.

How about if we instead concentrate on selling the good of our chosen candidate?

This is an article from The Guardian:

"The DNC can't steal the election from Bernie Sanders despite the Iowa chaos"
[link:https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/feb/05/the-dnc-cant-steal-the-election-from-bernie-sanders-despite-the-iowa-chaos|

albeit with less snark.

To quote Mr Sunkara, I want Bernie supporter to hear his plea, which is very similar to mine, even though I am not a fellow Bernie supporter: "But fellow Bernie Sanders supporters hear my plea – we gain nothing by playing into the idea that the process is so stacked against us that we can’t win. For one, saying that elections are all “hacked” or manipulated nowadays is a great way to encourage working people not to come out and vote."

All the silly conspiracy theories belittle their candidate. This is where the the snark in my post is coming from.
