Unlike Bernie, I believe a woman can beat Trump

I don't believe a socialist, man or woman, can beat Trump.

So while Bernie and Liz and their fans yell at each other, I am going to focus on candidates that can beat Trump.

Klobuchar and Biden, and to a lesser extent Buttigieg.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Amy Klobuchar

1. Thank you for this.

The republicons want us at each other, so does Putin. It dilutes our party, it makes people so angry they will stay home is their candidate doesn't get the nomination. They were successful at turning us against each other last time. I pray it won't work this time.

Like you I believe STRONGLY a woman can beat Trump, but I don't think a socialist can. I am with you Biden, Kobuchar or Buttigieg.

2. here, here!

A woman not only can beat trump, she can beat bernie.

All joking aside, I agree going into the general as a socialist will put you as a disadvantage. Yes, i support socialist policies, but I'm not going to call them that. That's not a hill I need to die on.

But he has so many weaknesses overall, he can't win. We need to not only win, we need to win hands down. Anything close and trump will try to retain power.

4. A woman did not lose to Trump

He cheated by colluding with an enemy to steal an election. Never forget that!

6. So like Sanders, you don't think a woman can beat Trump?

I fully disagree with your assessment. You may be right as we have never had a woman win the Presidency but I think that is a very poor argument.

7. History. It's a thing. A woman ran against Trump and I was sure she could easily win.

As I clearly stated in my post. Disagree all you want.

8. That is one of the worst arguments I've ever seen that a woman cannot win the Presidency.

One of the absolute worst.

"A woman ran against Trump and I was sure she could easily win."

Not sure why. The polls didn't show that. I know it was a media narrative but it is best not to buy everything they try to sell to you.

9. I'm not arguing that a woman cannot win the Presidency. I stated that

"A woman ran against Trump and I was sure she could easily win." Most people thought she could. You are arguing with yourself.

10. Then your whole point is completely off topic and lacks any context.

I'm not arguing with myself. As you just highlighted, I'm debating someone with ulterior motives. The two aren't the same. One operates under ethical debating guidelines, the other does not.

I'm very glad you oppose Sanders and fully understand a woman can win the Presidency.

Last night you opened up about your appreciation for PAC's and their role in politics. Now bucking Sanders on this. Looks like we might get you on team Biden yet.

11. I'm not debating shit. You responded to a statement I made. You will never have me

on your team. I will vote for Biden, should he be the nominee. But make no mistake, voting for him does not put me on your team. I do not oppose Sanders. Like Liz, I may disagree with him on minor issues but I agree with him on a lot more issues.

As for being off topic, the topic of the OP was

"Unlike Bernie, I believe a woman can beat Trump"

I stated that

Yeah, I thought that a woman could easily beat Trump too.

I see no reason to ever debate anything with you. If I change my mind I'll let you know. But don't hold your breath.

Mrs. Hillary Rodham-Clinton, former Secretary of State of the United States, who served with President Barack Obama received millions more popular votes in 2016. The election was stolen.

12. If younger voters turn out in great numbers Bernie will win primaries and general...

They do not have the same attitude (conditioning?) toward socialism.

14. Younger voters don't turn out. Older ones do.

Consistently, election after election after election.

Even if younger voters increased their turnout by 25%... which would be unprecedented... it isn't enough to overcome Biden's edge among the most reliable Democratic voting blocs.... Those over 50, and those of color.

16. Last I checked Warren is a

Democrat, yes, she's to the left of Biden, Klobuchar, and Pete, but I don't recall her every declaring herself a socialist.

That right there is a right wing talking point. Well done!
