In November, Joe Biden called Elizabeth Warren "representative of an elitism".

Can the faux outrage stop now?

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/05/us/politics/joe-biden-elizabeth-warren.html

Joseph R. Biden Jr. unfurled sharply personal new lines of attack against Senator Elizabeth Warren on Tuesday, questioning her contributions to the Democratic Party and seeking to cast her as an elitist who believes people lack courage or wisdom unless they agree with her.

“Some call it the ‘my way or the highway’ approach to politics,” Mr. Biden, the former vice president, wrote in a Medium post. “But it’s worse than that. It’s condescending to the millions of Democrats who have a different view. It’s representative of an elitism that working and middle-class people do not share: ‘We know best; you know nothing.’ ‘If you were only as smart as I am you would agree with me.’ This is no way to get anything done.”

Mr. Biden repeated similar arguments in a fund-raising email and at a fund-raiser in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, escalating tensions between the two top-polling contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination. He did not mention his rival by name, but the message was unmistakably aimed at Ms. Warren, whose Republican critics have for years sought to paint her as an out-of-touch liberal who worked as a Harvard professor.

Ms. Warren is running as a corruption-battling economic populist, and her campaign has emphasized that she grew up in Oklahoma “on the ragged edge of the middle-class.” Her campaign declined to comment on Mr. Biden’s remarks.

Biden's comments toward Elizabeth Warren did not happen in a vacuum. It happened after Warren's swipe that Biden is “running in the wrong presidential primary” and “repeating Republican talking points” with his criticism of her “Medicare for All” plan.

According to the article below, while he did not name her directly, he implied he was referring to her, and didn't directly call her "elitist", but said she employed a “condescending” approach to politics that smacks of “elitism.”

that she let slide.

People don’t know that September and October come before November? Heck, in September Grover Norquist was applauding Biden for attacking Warren with GOP talking points.

Then there are his October attack that she's "trying to con the American people"

Biden rips Warren's credibility after contentious Democratic debate

4 MIN READ
COLUMBUS, Ohio (Reuters) - Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden questioned surging rival Elizabeth Warren’s credibility on Wednesday, accusing her of failing to be open with voters about how she would pay for her ambitious Medicare for All healthcare proposal.
.....
Biden said it was “absolutely ridiculous” that Warren would not delve into the details of her healthcare proposal, drawing a comparison to Trump.

“The last thing the Democrats should be doing is playing Trump’s game and trying to con the American people to think this is easy. There’s nothing easy about it,” he said.

"Elitism" is a word Republicans use to suggest that someone is too well read to be easily absorbed by Republican autocratic methods. It works on Republicans who prefer compliance and obedience among their groups. They don't like to be challenged.

If you really had to go there, all candidates think they know best, because that's what presidential candidates do. They build their own platforms and try to convince you that they are right and nobody else is.

Frankly, this is kind of a losing proposition for Biden who has been pushing Daddy-knows-bests Centrist ideas that have taken the Democratic positions backwards.

And Bernie? I'm just not seeing where he's coming from, since he and Elizabeth Warren both have similar backgrounds. What exactly makes him non-elitist? His gun policy?

If Elizabeth Warren stands out it's because she's going after one of the last sacred cows in America: Wall Street. If our society appears lopsided it's because we still have organizations that are allowed to cheat to create false economies that benefit a few at the expense of many. It doesn't make any fucking sense to me how you can hit everyone over the head with the virtues of capitalism, expecting everyone to be self-reliant and independent, when you have the one vehicle for investments and savings so volatile as Wall Street has been since the eighties. She is fighting for everyone's American Dream. And that seems to scare people. Why? There are more of us, than they are of them.

You are literally trying to deflect from Sanders highly unethical campaign of dishonest attacks.

So many people weren't ok with a couple of things Biden and Warren said back and forth to one and other.

Neither Biden or Warren have sent out top campaign staff to make up horrendous lies about their opponents, trash the Democratic Party, or surround themselves by Trump enablers.

You just can't be serious with this blatant deflection.

Has the Sanders campaign every compared one of Bidens policies to the 9-11 terrorist attack? That is the level of sickness and historical context we are talking about. Its a feature, not a bug.

Not to mention your own topic line is dishonest. Why didn't you include the word "It's" in your quote? It would have made it more accurate, you had room, and it's necessary to be honest and ethical.

primary today, I would vote for:
