Joe BidenCongratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!

Wed Mar 27, 2019, 10:11 AM

Mayor Pete has overtaken Elizabeth Warren in DU Primaries support!

When you look at the candidates with the top support, there's Pete Buttigieg with 6% of DUers' allegiance, bumping Elizabeth Warren out of that fourth place spot.

Next up: Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden at 8% each.

GO, MAYOR PETE!!!!

primary today, I would vote for:

Lots of things may change in the next year.

4. You know, it's going out on a limb

but I'm willing to bet that what changes over the next year is a tidal wave of support in favor of Pete, who by all appearances is an earnest, intelligent and caring individual who is every bit deserving of representing the Democrats in 2020 and the United States of America in 2021.

It's not late December nor January, so there's a long time to go.

15. There's no arguing the actual date

I see March 27 on my calendar as well. But I'm hearing uplifting words from a visionary, reminiscent of Barack Obama. There are other outstanding orators in the field, Beto and Kamala in particular. Bernie, Elizabeth, and Joe (if he runs) are no slouches either.

But there's something special about Pete and I'm not waiting for several months to extol his leadership qualities.

Are there 75, 250, 500, 1000 members in this primaries forum.

Come to think of it... I also have no clue how many active members are on DU, but I enjoy everyone.

There are 251,872 registered users. However, there's no way of knowing how many of those are active and how many are dormant.

I was looking the other day to see what the opposition to him is, and quite honestly, I'm not seeing anything? Seems more that people don't know who he is.

He's in my top 3, so really happy to see him getting traction on DU.

I haven't rained on anyone's parade. There's a difference between people showing up scoffing, like yourself, and people like me who praise a particular candidate. If you can't see that difference, put on your reading glasses.

27. I think it's super, duper great to have that enthusiasm early on

And it can be contagious!

I think the only reason Im not declaring a candidate at this point is that Im feeling swamped in my real life, and I guess Id feel an obligation to be able to answer questions and advocate for my choice, and Im not ready for that yet.

If I absolutely had to vote today, though, Im almost sure it would be for Pete.
