Biden campaign releases his medical history

The Hill

Former Vice President Joe Biden's 2020 campaign on Tuesday released records on his medical history, with a physician asserting he is fit to be president.

"Vice President Biden is a healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State, and Commander in Chief," said Dr. Kevin O'Connor, who served as Biden's doctor while he was vice president.

O'Connor noted that Biden is being treated for nonvalvular atrial fibrillation, hyperlipidemia, gastroesophageal reflux and seasonal allergies.

Nonvalvular atrial fibrillation can cause blood to pool in the heart, which heightens the risk of blood clots and strokes if untreated, while hyperlipidemia occurs when there is a high concentration of fats or lipids

1. Interesting. Thanks. I prefer a younger candidate, but I am comfortable with Biden in office.

Sanders recent heart attack and heart disease is a no go for me, and his inability to hire solid people that are actually Democrats. I know a lot of people do not want age to be an issue, but I am old and it does matter, for me.

2. Every candidate we have is in far better health

than 45. We don't even know what all is wrong with him, we only know that it's bad enough that he has to fake the results of his Physical.

5. Sanders just had an heart attack. Not to dismiss Trumps health issues.

I am sure they are out there. Really sure and I am still waiting to find out what the hospital visit was about. But, Sanders is 80 and did just have an heart attack. I think that trumps anything we have seen with Trump the last three years. Though, some can argue cognitively Trump is in fail mode, but it may just be who Trump is and not medical. I am astounded he hasn't dropped dead yet.

6. If Trump didn't have medical problems,

why are the results of his Physical so obviously fake and full of lies?

9. Hillary Clinton Had a Minor Bout of Pneumonia and People Lost Their Mind

Bernie has a heart attack and he is the oldest candidate in the field and people buy his spin that he is stronger because of it and more focused. Seriously? It is amazing the free pass Bernie gets due to his strategy of screaming bias any time something slightly critical is published, yet the fact that he gets a free pass while Hillary had to deal with pneumonia-gate is just crazy. And sexist.

https://healthguides.healthgrades.com/preventing-another-heart-attack/what-are-the-odds-of-having-a-second-heart-attack

What Are the Odds of Having a Second Heart Attack?

A heart attack, or myocardial infarction, occurs when the flow of oxygen to the heart stops suddenly. This is usually due to the build-up of fat and cholesterol in the arteries. Each year in the United States, about 735,000 people experience a heart attack. For 30% of them, it isnít the first time. Once you have one heart attack, the risk for having another heart attack rises; this risk is especially high for 3 to 5 years after the first heart attack. Every heart attack is different, though, and you arenít just a number. Thereís a lot you and your doctor can do to help prevent a second heart attack.

12. Releasing medical records should be mandatory...,

A President experience a serious medical event can create significant implications for the country, particularly the economy. The economy hates uncertainty. Voters need to have a clear understandingnof their candidates' health.
