2. Disgusting, reprehensible tactics.

I am hopeful they'll continue to be exposed.

5. Beyond disgusting. Just to keep the insurance companies in control of people lives.

May they rot in hell.

Partnership for America's Health Care Future is an ad hoc alliance of American hospital, health insurance, and pharmaceutical lobbyists committed to preventing legislation that would lead to single payer healthcare, expanding Medicare, or creating Medicare for All in particular.

6. Anyone have the link to the WP story?

I tried to look for it but maybe because I don't know the title, I was not able to find it.

Thank you

8. Thanks to Wendell

who has been one of my heroes for a while now, and thanks to you for sharing.

I wouldn't be surprised if he know who some of them are, and if so, and if they don't out themselves, I hope he outs them

12. Breaks my heart. Especially, even if we get the MFA...

Will it include dental or vision? Just wrote a check for my elderly sis at the dentist office, for over $1200, that was with the discount from the dentist. She's diabetic, so she gets vision check once a year covered, but glasses is a whole lot extra. We have to find a way to get us out of the for-profit health system.

I am a caregiver to three other folks... One in assisted living. They nickel and dime her at every turn. She's blind, so takes her meals in her room. They charge $5 per meal to deliver down the hall. $63 for a shower... I'm paid a flat-rate, to give her the care she needs and deserves. I feel guilty every day for recording my time card, but I shouldn't be put in this position... It's this horrible healthcare system we're all trapped in. We have to find a way to take healthcare out of the for-profit system.
