I have been a solid Beto fan but -

damn that Mayor Pete really is getting to me. He seems to have it all. I just finished his book and am so very impressed.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

1. I think that Beto has taken some conservative positions

to stay pertinent in Texas. But pro death penalty doesn't fly here in Illinois. I heard he was pro capital punishment two years ago.

He would not state emphatically his feeling about abortion either. That disturbs me.

a Walmart - that sealed it even more for me. I learned that in the Vanity Fair cover story about him. The only reason the deal did not go through was because the recession hit that year. Very interesting reading.
