Now Deval Patrick is talking about entering the race?

Listen folks.... if you are not already in the race, stay the hell out.

We have a diverse, quality list of candidates already. Diverse in biographies, and diverse in policy positions.

We don't need Bloomberg, Patrick, Holder, or anyone else to join the race. Frankly, we need about a half-dozen to see the writing on on the wall and drop out.

If you can't find a suitable candidate among Biden, Warren, Sanders, Buttigieg, Harris, Klobuchar, Booker, Yang, etc.... they you already are a Republican. Because literally every wing of the Democratic party is already represented.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Amy Klobuchar

19. only about raising his profile

He is not so dumb. He will never win. This is all and only about raising his profile and getting attention. For something in the future.

He was a poor, timid governor. Nice guy, but never dealt with mass transit, never dealt with tax iniquities, never looked at over-incarceration and police misconduct.

He would make a good high school teacher.

6. many people cant

Bill Clinton was a late Sept entry. We dont have a Bill Clinton or Obama to unite libetals, modetates and yiung people. There is real concern that our top candidates are old, Washington insiders. I see his point. Let him run. Hes our ally not our enemy

12. Polls just mentioned on MSNBC say about 95% of Dems have a favorite candidate already.

I don't see Patrick or Bloomberg being in a better position to unite Democrats than who's already leading in the polls. Outside the east coast Patrick is unknown, and Bloomberg doesn't have a base. Biden's blue-collar midwesterners and PoC won't like him, Buttigieg's white-collar midwesterners won't like him, and Warren's and Sanders' progressives won't like him. His only constituency is rich New Yorkers.

Like the debate stage isn't big enough already? Plus, I think the Bain connection would hurt him.

8. Whoa, enough already

When the Democratic Primary Voters (and wise sages in the Party) have spoken, let's get behind our candidate to replace the orange, juvenile porn and reality pretender.

9. Just fucking stop it!!!

There is already an excellent field of candidates, probably the best we have seen in decades. Why do we need Bloomberg or Patrick? What do either of them bring to the table that the current candidates don't have?

Most of whom remain in single digits after months of campaigning.

Nothing wrong with hearing some new voices.

We are after all the 'democratic' party.

And unlike Bloomberg, he'll have to work for the nomination just like everyone else, instead of trying to buy it.
