Here is the audio of the interview with Pete Buttigieg

there is no excuse for that article, none. That reporter needs to be fired and the paper needs to be sued. &feature=youtu.be

I guess we can be glad this fool doesn't build bridges for a living he might have killed someone, instead he likely killed a candidacy. Nothing short of firing is good enough here.

Pete Buttigieg

3. No kidding

I am amazed it is this blatant. At this point I am wondering if that reporter his a member of the FRC or some other anti gay group.

4. I fail to understand how anyone could have made that mistake.

Mayor Buttigieg's voice was very clear.

5. This is a very clear and quiet comment, easily discernible...

Not the error occurring in a transcription at a loud rally, as the reporter said.
One tends to question that reporters explanation/apology, yes.

6. If the reporter is not fired, the least they can do is for the news outlet that

he worked for to make a BIG apology.

8. Things like this often help a candidate.

They get the additional opportunity to further discuss their policies.

9. Who is the LAT actually employing?

He needs to be at least suspended for such carelessness (if it was carelessness - I have my doubts).

Newsweek story.

https://www.newsweek.com/buttigieg-obama-biden-democrats-election-2020-1470934
OBAMA ERA 'FAILURES' EXPLAIN HOW WE GOT TRUMP PRESIDENCY, SAYS PETE BUTTIGIEG

He isn't even my first pick.

Newsweek hasn't even bothered to pull or correct at this point.

12. It seems like this was deliberate. I just don't see where he got Obama from this in any way, shape

or form. Even the followup sentence is talking about normal. This seems blatant to me.

17. Thanks for posting this.

What really gets me is that reporter’s “apology” sounds like he’s patting himself on the back for his big “apology.”

Ugh. Unprofessional at best.
