TWITTER just announced "They will take down any political adds " prior to the 2020 election!

I LOVE IT! The reporters said this is putting a LOT of pressure on Facebook to do the same thing.

I got this info from Velshi & Rule on MNBC
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

1. I hope so

How much friggin' money does that fool Zuckerberg need anyway? He is worth almost $70 billion now, so its not likely he is being bribed or blackmailed by Putin or Trump.

2. I don't see ads on Twitter.

I only go there to copy URLs for posting to other places, and I don't have a Twitter account. I don't run an adblocker, just regular Norton.

4. Me neither!

I appreciate this move, but I've been on Twitter for a while and don't see political ads. Consumer goods are often advertised, movies are promoted, etc... This is a tiny fraction of Twitter's problem IMO.

3. This is okay, but the real issue with Twitter isn't political ads.

I don't even remember the last time I saw a political ad on Twitter. The problem is with memes propagated by bots and trolls, and then retweeted by actual real people who can't tell they are retweeting garbage. It's like a virus. The issue is fraudulent accounts.
