Gabbard is feeling she does not have a future in the Democratic party, and she's smart enough to know third party runs are a political dead end.

If she is on video, or if a Fox News person said it and she didn't immediately refute that person, then it is highly likely true that she will run third party.

After her tweet assault on Hillary, it is hard to imagine that she voted for Hillary in 2016. If you think she did, go ahead, but it should now be clear that she didn't.

ad nauseam on cable news and social media. Hillary's comments helped raise her profile. "Fuck Jill Stein" is a popular refrain on DU and if Gabbard runs third-party, guess we'll be hearing the same about her. I just don't see the wisdom in making a total unknown a household name, when that formerly total unknown can pull votes from Democrats, especially Democrats who opposed the invasion of Iraq and other Middle East foreign policy. Maybe Gabbard will garner votes from the Steve Bannon burn-it-all-down contingent, which will hurt Rethugs more than Dems.
