Really - 8 candidates already make the next debate stage?

Per the below article. 8 candidates already make the next debate stage. This is getting annoying. They need to make it harder to get on the stage. 3% support is not high enough. There shouldn't be more than 6 candidates on the stage at this point. Having this many people hurts candidates like Harris & Buttigieg that are more unknown but that actually have a chance to break through.

At this point it should be Biden, Warren, Sanders, Buttigieg, Harris

1. It needs to be 10%

If you can't muster 10%, you don't belong on the stage. You should not be able to buy your way on as Steyer did.

2. And, they are ...

The candidates who have met the polling and donor thresholds are:
Former Vice President Joe Biden
Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren
Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders
California Sen. Kamala Harris
New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker
South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg
Entrepreneur Andrew Yang
Billionaire and climate advocate Tom Steyer

Four candidates have met just the donor requirement:
Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro
Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar
Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke
Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard

Meanwhile, seven candidates have yet to reach either requirement:
Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet
Montana Gov. Steve Bullock
Former Maryland Rep. John Delaney
Miramar, Florida, Mayor Wayne Messam
Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan
Former Pennsylvania Rep. Joe Sestak
Author and activist Marianne Williamson

3. You are so Right !

Candidates are forced to speak in sound bites ...There is no in depth discussion of issues …..If they have another 10+ person debate , I'm skipping out ....

Bernie Sanders

6. I know right?

Every time they start to answer they are cut off. I find it annoying.

4. I disagree

I believe that we need to hear from the many ideas that are coming from the present field. This will all sort itself out in the not too distant future.

Andrew Yang

9. Perhaps contacting the DNC

would get you what you want rather than posting here.

One might also note that early frontrunners have traditionally not become the nominee of the party, so I am perfectly content to wait the process out.

10. There are millions of voters who want to make the decision

and not to rely on the leaders of the DNC or on political junkies like us.

One important observation from 2008 and 2016 was that all the states, many who would normally faced a done deal, had a chance to vote in their primaries that took place as late as June or September.

And, yes, I think that Klobuchar belongs there way ahead of Steyer and Yang.

But, we are still faced with voters who yearn to "business owners" to run the country like a business while ignoring all other branches of government not to mention the rules of how the country should be run.

Who said do this and don't ask question. Because this is the way they have made their success.

primary today, I would vote for:
Amy Klobuchar

11. At this point it should be who ever the qualification rules say it should be.

You don't get to personally decide who should or should not be there.
