Stephen Colbert - Guest Elizabeth Warren: A Country That Elects Donald Trump Is Already In Trouble

The Senator from Massachusetts and presidential candidate, Elizabeth Warren, says Donald Trump is not just a bad president, he's a "terrible president."

Elizabeth Warren: No President Gets To Declare War On Their Own

With Trump threatening to go to war with Iran, presidential candidate Senator Elizabeth Warren reminds Trump that no President gets to declare war on their own.

I had the opportunity to watch this 'live', but couldn't find clips to share here.

Elizabeth Warren knows how the economy is rigged against most of us and knows how to convey that to the audience.

primary today, I would vote for:

She's always on-message and Stephen Colbert loved having her there. And besides posting Colbert's monologue every night - I figure we can use the humor here - I also post his political guests and this was his big interview of the week!

I have a couple of favorites - and I've always been admirer of Senator Warren, and my estimation increased even further when I watched her "persist" when she was shut down by Mitch McConnell!

She knows her facts, she can speak on any issue and she's always on message, as I've said. My only reservation about her becoming president is that she's such an important force in the Senate. But I wouldn't be at all surprised if she "persists" all the way to the White House. As for taking on Trump, she'd leave him in the dust before he knew what hit him!

and I think her replacement would be appointed by a repub governor.

I worry about every one of our candidates vs trump. debating a mud 'rassler with facts is not always a productive endeavor.

The moderators should have sent him back to his spot! But if it is Elizabeth Warren, I can't see her putting up with that for one second - now we'll be prepared. But I also can't see Trump actually debating - all he knows how to do is to rant about any ridiculous thought that crosses what passes for his mind - and then wait for the applause.

I can't see a Republican holding Ted Kennedy's seat - but you're right, the Republican governor would appoint a Republican and her term still has 5 years to go - and I also remember Scott Brown...
