Kamala Harris calls for Kavanaugh impeachment

I sat through those hearings. Brett Kavanaugh lied to the U.S. Senate and most importantly to the American people. He was put on the Court through a sham process and his place on the Court is an insult to the pursuit of truth and justice.

He must be impeached.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Kamala Harris

This would be the sweetest thing!
I guess Cali could afford to risk a senate seat - dems safe, no? - and if she isn't the candidate - AG for sure! She will be historically good at this!

Just not when she slammed Biden. Otherwise, I'm cheering her toughness in fighting Nazi tRump and his minions.

We need someone who's truly not afraid to tell all truths and attack. I'm leaning toward 2 other candidates for the top job but, as you stated, I'd love to see her as AG. Just love it.

4. I have real hope he will ultimately. Many thousands

of legal and ethical experts stood against his appointment. His behaviors with women when he was in college are, incredible as it may seem, the least of the causes to remove him for, most of which continued right up to his elevation to the district court.

As for Harris, fine. She'll very possibly be in the senate to help remove him. But if she's busy elsewhere, California has a Democratic governor through 2022, who will appoint her successor.

11. Something peculiar about that Kavanaugh hearing.

Quite a bit, actually. But the one thing that woke me up was how he squealed and wailed and cried and sounded so shallow-- something that most people in this right-leaning community would have discredited as unmanly if anybody else did it--but Trump claimed he was fighting back and gave him a positive response. I felt like Kavanaugh could have done any number of stupid responses, and they still would have supported him.

Another example was how people responded to R.Kelly. Wasn't that the same kind of freak out, yet, look how people responded in the opposite manner.

WTF?

None of these right wing men, scratch that, right wing babies, could do what she did, & yet they strut around like they are so superior, with zero acknowledgement of the privilege they've had their entire lives.

It's bound to happen that a more recent sexual offense will come to light, and it won't be outside the window of the statute of limitations.

There's no reason why a supreme court justice should be above the law. A Harris administration would prosecute. There's no doubt about that.

What about Sanders or Warren or Klobuchar. Or Biden, who surely also has friends in the House - he even swore a lot of them in.

Or here's an idea. Beto is IN the House. Why not call upon HIM to introduce articles instead of saying it's on Harris to get one one of her friends in the House to do it?

77. May have jumped early since the NYT changed the story last night

Now it just looks like the NYT purposely withheld that the woman allegedly involved in this new incident has said she has no memory of such a thing happening.

This latest outrage is gonna fade away quickly since the story fell apart within a day.
