"SNIP......

“Sen. Kamala Harris’ top donors, including those who have contributed or opened their networks to her, are privately acknowledging that if she doesn’t perform well on Thursday, she could start losing the support of wealthy financiers,” CNBC reports.

“In discussions with donors and those close to lead financiers, there is a growing consensus that the California lawmaker needs to have a strong outing against the nine other contenders if she wants to maintain an alliance with many big money donors that have donated to multiple campaigns, including hers.”

......SNIP"

1. Thing about Kamala is she is electric in person or small groups. She's

a fighter. But she has a hard time translating that to a large audience. If you think of it a President isn't making policy or getting bills passed in a large audience. Only in elections does that matter. She would make an excellent president.

5. That's bad. Canada is on an uptick where people of colour members

of parliament or members of provincial parliament or city counsellirs are concerned.

6. If Kamala wants to beat Joe she needs to fight like she did in the 1st debate. Dems want to beat...

...Trump means they want a fighter who can cut Trump down to size. She can prove that she can beat Trump by confronting the front-runner on 9/12.

9. Time for another bump? She can't stand on her own without

trying to tear someone else down?

Reuters/Ipsos poll, Democratic registered voters: Biden 30%, Sanders 19%, Warren 14%, Harris 5%,

Biden was at 36% in May and June, dipped to 28% in July and August, now 30%.

Sanders was at 15, 16, 18, 23, and now 19%.

Warren at 9, 11, 13. 12, and now 14%.

Harris at 9, 8, 13, 7, and now 5%.

11. I'm guessing that you are wrong.

In hopes of helping some other candidate. (bak at ya)

It's actually ok with me. It's the Primaries.

This is the time we Dems can actually enjoy disagreements.

Now is the time to get it out of our "system."

Long before November 2020.

what has hurt her .

other candidates have NOT done what you suggested and they have been doing better .

17. it makes sense if you support another candidate

but you want that candidate to remain in good standing so you suggest someone else do the dirty work of hurting another candidate.

we have seen how negative attacks CAN work in hurt the candidate targeted but at the same time it often hurts the person doing the attack also. and the person that benefits is someone else entirely .

just look at how the poster has not said the person he has been supporting should go after Biden but instead Harris who he hasn't been shown to support.

14. I think that's a false narrative

...the fact that this relatively unknown black woman could knock the former VP off his perch (for however fleeting) is more of a measure of Biden's weakness, than Kamala's.

No one expected that blip to last, and when it evaporated, a media narrative was born. What they should be asking is why Biden is so easily rolled by a little tiff in a debate.

Looks like everyone is eating into his ratings today:

Chelsea Janes @chelsea_janes
New CNN national poll w trend:

Biden: 24% (-5)
Warren: 18% (+4)
Sanders: 17% (+2)
Harris: 8%. (+3)
Buttigieg: 6% (+1)
O’Rourke: 5% (+2)
Booker: 2% (+0)
Gabbard: 2% (+0)
Yang: 2% (+1)
Bennet: 1% (+1)
Castro: 1% (-1)
De Blasio: 1% (+1)
Steyer: 1% (+1)

jury was impressed until more evidence came in.

23. media coverage dropped off dramatically after that first debate's fireworks died down

...and that's a more believable and demonstratively valid explanation for the polls than some opinion about a debate tiff that most polled didn't even see or know about.

18. Her empathic side, shown in a recent clip talking about her mother, is so much more appealing

than her tough prosecutor scorched earth persona. If she wants to be competitive, she needs to show us the qualifications and experience that puts her ahead of others and her own vision for the
country.

I think her capacity for warmth, her work to right injustice, her record in civil rights support, women’s causes, particularly WOC, these are the areas she needs to demonstrate are where she
stands out.

More theatrical tear-down is not the ticket. She used that one up.
