3. wide open for any of the top four

but Bernie in fourth place with his name recognition and dedicated group of support is....what's the word...not good.
He's on the glide path to single digits.

8. probably yeah

and if I were a Warren supporter it would be very good news if he left as it has to help her the most.

I'd be shocked if he does though.

Even if he falls to fifth.

4. Interesting that Yang has 2% - that's the only surprise.

I would have guessed it would be Castro or Booker, not Yang to break through.

Looking forward to having the debate between these candidates.

9. 538 says to look at the average of any set of polls.

For example, they say it's a good sign that national polls are a bit different this early on. It shows that the pollsters are not "herding" their results to an expected values.

538 suggest averaging the national polls to get a clearer picture of the actual state of the race.

RealClearPolitics keeps a running tally on the major polls and their average results also:

10. I think the answer is that there are consistently four contenders

at this point.

Then Buttigieg.

Then a bunch of folks who should start looking to go back to their day jobs soon.
