gaffs.

I was quite surprised after reading Connie Schult's column. Her take, her supporters, those critical.

I can be civil, but can they? They have proven over and over that they are unwilling to work with us. Yes it would be nice, great even, if we could all just get along. But after ONCE offering them an opportunity to work on legislation of benefit to their constituents, and they don't even return the call, or refuse to work on billed passed by the house, or go on MSmedia and lie their asses off, why bother dealing with them on any bill? There is only one way to make congress work again, and that is to vote out every rotten Republican. They truly are an evil cult.

You do that by employing the biggest, most energetic, tireless 50 state strategy America has ever seen. You energize young voters and new voters in record numbers. Biden is not the one who can do that. In fact, I fear that his endless gaffes are going to alienate more voters than he energizes. These are unforced mistakes he always makes whenever he is in the spotlight. There is a reason he did not do well in primaries the previous times he's run. The more he opens his mouth the more we are all going to be reminded of why that was.

And given that moderates won in 18, a left left candidate will only decrease our little bit of a chance.

5. Biden made an unforced and unnecessary error in using segregationists

As an example of 'civility'.
snip--""He never called me 'boy.' He always called me 'son,'" Biden told donors. "Well, guess what? At least there was some civility. We got things done. We didn't agree on much of anything. We got things done. We got it finished. But today, you look at the other side and you're the enemy. Not the opposition, the enemy. We don't talk to each other anymore."

He never called me "boy." No mention of how "boy" was a common term of derision and disrespect for black men in the Jim Crow south, or how Biden's white skin determined Eastland's willingness to work with him. Instead, we're supposed to see Biden's ability to get along with a man who called black people "an inferior race" as a model for how to engage with civility in 2019."

snip--" I've been writing about race throughout my journalism career, so I knew to expect criticism from some white people. Too many of them want to explain away the potential harm of Biden's comments for people who don't look like us. This defensiveness illustrates an enduring blind spot for many white liberals: No matter how committed we are to civil rights, we will never know what it feels like to be black or brown in America."

He is however making errors over & over.

The telling brothers to watch over their sister,
His continued touching of women he is not related to,
and this 'civility' example.

I like that ApricotHellbeast is freaked out over him. I like that alot.

The statements and actions of Mr Biden is part of vetting.
He really needs to get and act smarter.

did the same for me. Biden is who he is...I believe most like that about him...and the ones that don't mostly are supporting other candidates who in my opinion have a snowball's chance in hell of winning a general...not talking about you.
