There has to be change, Not hope, but Real Change, and Biden is not Change...

Don't worry, billionaires: your standard of living won't change under a Joe Biden administration.

That's the message the Democratic frontrunner delivered to donors Tuesday as he continued a fundraising trip in New York that saw him on Monday tell a room of wealthy Wall Streeters "you guys are great" and ask a Trump-loving supermarket magnate for support.

In Biden's comments Tuesday, the former vice president told a room of 100 of the New York financial elite, including bankers Robert Rubin and Roger Altman, both of whom worked in the Treasury Department under Democratic administrations, that he wasn't their enemy. According to Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Epstein, Biden took pains to separate himself from the rest of the field in his comments.

"Remember, I got in trouble with some of the people on my team, on the Democratic side, because I said, you know, what I've found is rich people are just as patriotic as poor people," said Biden. "Not a joke. I mean, we may not want to demonize anybody who's made money."

1. He said Republicans will all do the right thing once Trump is gone.
2. Made a creepy comment to a little girl,
3. Said he's not going to do anything that will adversly affect rich people, and
4. Pointed out that he never got called boy by a terrible segregationist, but hey, he could work with him.

And only a year and a half to go.

to demonize? 500k/year? One million a year? Keep in mind, a large portion of the top 5% of income earners are democrats.

All rich people are not selfish and bad. People can be selfish and bad no matter how much money they have or don't have.

I think it's true that it's harder for a rich person to stay good (depending on how you define "good&quot . Hey, I think the Bible even has a quote for that: It's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven.

But realizing the American Dream is a good thing. Getting wealthy off your own work and ideas is a great thing.

There are good wealthy people. Warren Buffett. Bill Gates and his wife are doing wonderful philanthropic things with their wealth, that a government would have trouble doing. Mark Cuban...isn't he a good guy? Anderson Cooper? Soros? Michael Bloomberg.

What kind of a country would we have if we didn't have people who were immensely successful at innovation and business? They need to pay their fair share, of course. I think that the good ones recognize that.

They say that having money just enlarges what you were already as a person. If you were a selfish, unempathetic poor or middle class person, you will be the same as a rich person, only more so.

Biden says one of first actions he’ll take is to get the Trump Tax Cuts for the wealthy REPEALED.

Commondreams went off the rails a while ago. This is real Breitbart level “analysis”. Shallow binary thinking, buzzwords, and simple propaganda.

I wouldn’t believe anything they said even if their tongues came notarized.

Thanks for posting! Do appreciate hearing the latest and greatest!

17. If the choice is between being Woke and winning, I select winning

The concept that this election is a lock and that the Democratic Party can nominate a far left out of touch candidate is not the real world. If the economy does not falter (and trump is working hard to kill the Obama economy), then this will be a close race.

If the choice is between nominating a very far left progressive candidate or winning, I want to win
