Anita Hill says she could see herself voting for Biden

"Anita Hill said in an interview that she could see herself voting for Joe Biden, despite her dissatisfaction with his less-than-full-throated apologies to her.
When asked by NBC’s Andrea Mitchell whether she would consider voting for Biden if he becomes the Democratic nominee, Hill replied: “Of course I could.”

https://www.politico.com/story/2019/06/13/anita-hill-says-that-she-could-vote-for-biden-1364590

I am sure this doesn't make some folks in the press particularly happy

What it does show is no matter who are Democratic nominee is, the Democrats WILL come together behind that candidate, whoever it is

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Is there anyone who is a current DU member that won't vote for the democratic nominee? I know the whole history of the last election and on DU I think it's a tad overblown. But none the less, going forward, does anyone really think that whomever the nominee is people here won't vote for "them"? It's primary season, it's when we disagree.

Never doubted she would vote for whoever gets the nomination. This is an existential election, for no one more than groups traditionally targeted for persecution and discrimination. Ms. Hill is not just both female and black but works at a level many religious fundamentalists, misogynists and white supremacists feel should be reserved for men, mostly white.

Strangely, the grim threat of Trump and the Republicans in power, including massive, blatant racism, didn't accomplish it all by themselves then, when millions of Democrats did not vote, and it won't in 2020.

I favor a law, perhaps like Australia's, that will poke these enablers of evil up onto their feet and to the polls to do their duty. Itm, we have people like Anita hoping to lead at least a few by example.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
