jingoism.. been here before so many times.. Trump is trying to completely wipe out everything Barack Obama and Joe Biden accomplished from the ACA.. to today they have completely closed down anything with Cuba.. The Republicans said from the start that they were going to stop the Black President in his tracks.. and they failed.. but they gave it every try in the book.. from refusing to go to the Whitehouse for dinner to refusing his supreme court candidate from getting a hearing.. same old stuff different day.. and the jingoists on our side was singing the same tune from the opposite end of the political spectrum.... and they are doing it to Biden..

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

You're correct, all too often we wind up with nothing. We even almost lost the ACA, which has helped tens of millions of people over the last ten years, because it wasn't perfect enough.

We lost the presidency three years ago because our candidate wasn't perfect enough so voters by the droves voted for Jill Stein or didn't vote at all.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

That line of positing possibly ends up being, if carried to its logical end-game conclusion, that any front-running candidate who is even marginally better (NOT saying Biden is only marginally better), than Rump deserves to be our nominee regardless of what his/her actual positions are in some vital areas, despite the fact there are OTHER (literally and figuratively) choices. All this rationalisation for Biden is simply based off his being up atm in early June 2019 polls.

Conversely, a lot of the eagerness to use it as an issue in the primary is motivated by the fact he is up atm in early June 2019 polls. That cuts both ways.

Between the purity and litmus tests, the russian chicanery and the influence of Woke Twitter, the last 24 hours has shown me we're probably fucked no matter who is the nominee. Donnie's voters only care about winning. And they show up.

Lying that there was no difference between trump and Hillary. According to the RF stein.. Hillary "was not pure enough"..

We'll see.. those who are anti-Biden think they have found their way to bring him down.

It hasn't changed my mind about who I support.. not a one issue voter.

video saying, Biden should run as a Republican to primary Trump.

It made me sad that she posted that, frankly.

It's like some people have no concept of politics, reality, or compromise.

Yeah, it's like the all-or-nothing, both sides are the same idiocy that gave us Trump.

Oh well.
