Biden just blasted Trump on one of his biggest weaknesses.

Biden deputy campaign manager Kate Bedingfield said:
We can’t trust President Trump to look out for American workers, because for all his bluster, he never does. Just look at the record: The trade deficit is larger than when Trump took office, he’s forced labor to take a back seat in his dealings with China, and he’s alienated our allies who also suffer from China’s trade abuses. Instead of delivering results, Trump is asking American farmers and American families to bear all the costs of his trade war. His administration’s erratic and impulsive approach to China is causing families economic pain.

Joe Biden would rally our friends and allies to hold China accountable, so that working families and farmers don’t pay an extra Trump Tax. Biden would also restore our standing in the world on Day 1, advance our security and prosperity, and deliver results for all Americans -- not just the well connected.

A new Detroit News poll of Michigan finds that Trump trails most Democratic hopefuls, some by large margins. Notably, 47 percent of Michigan voters say Trump’s China policies are bad for the state, vs. only 26 percent who say the opposite.

Crucially, among Michigan union households, opposition climbs to 55 percent, and independents oppose the policies by 2 to 1. Those groups likely include many of the blue-collar white and Obama-Trump voters Democrats must win back. Meanwhile, recent Quinnipiac polling found that in the industrial Midwest states, Trump’s trade policies are underwater.

But to win, Trump's various lies must be exposed. And the US corporate media has no interest in actual journalism.

Instead, US voters read a steady diet of people magazine type personality coverage, and Trump's many lies are ignored as the media prefers to uncritically present Trump's lies as an alternate truth.

There is a difference from the candidate personally saying something, and someone on the campaign saying something.

I haven't seen supporters from any of the other candidates claiming that something a staffer said was something that the candidate said.

Amid all Trump's trade bluster and harping on how he's The Great Deal Maker, this is a smart move by the Biden camp. Because now voters can see the results: very little accomplished with the added imposition of what will certainly be higher costs, meaning that Trump Trade = a Trump Tax on the very people who supported him last time out, the working class. It also dispels the 'we can go it alone' nationalism that Trump relishes. Because again, voters can see the limitations of unilateral positioning despite Trump bellowing to the contrary.

Good move and clobber.

he*s also making us pay for his stupid luxury, gourmet golf fetish. He says he's a billionaire. Why should I and other hard-working taxpayers give him our tax money for his stupid game, struting around in FAKE "nature" playing with his putter? Sick republican values in action.
