2. Exactly

And if they fully understood what doing this on a national level would mean for this country they would take an honest and fair look at him rather than listening to the unfair and extremely inaccurate media coverage.

5. What he unleashed in Texas:

Beto's coattails - 19 black women made history as the largest number of female African Americans elected to judicial seats in Harris County:

11. Yes, they knocked on my door about a week before the election occurred.

I talked to an elderly woman for about 10 minutes and I indicated my support for Beto. It's the first time that ever occurred for me and I'm 53 years old and live in a small town (about 8,500 people) in a red county.

14. Beto inspires people to act...

He makes you want to get involved. The ability to do that is NOT something that can be learned. People have it, or they don't. Beto has it.

7. He ignited and expanded the electorate in Texas

That was an historic accomplishment. But can't you see him and his followers continuing that passion to vote Dem down the ballot in the 2020 General election even if he's not at the top of the ticket?

8. With how horribly he is being treated with inaccurate reporting and bashing?

Although Beto will absolutely support whoever the nominee is, if the way he is being treated continues I could see a great deal of very deep resentment and disillusionment from his supporters. It's easy to unite when your candidate has a fair playing field. It's more difficult to do that when your candidate does NOT get that because you are left feeling a bit disenfranchised. That's the LAST thing this country needs, so I sure as heck hope the national media stops with the inaccurate reports and in some cases straight up lies. It's harmful to the process.

12. Irrelevant at this point.

Let's see where they are after the debates. He has built a lot of infrastructure to get out the votes in the early primary states and he also has the financial resources to make it through to the Super Tuesday primaries.

18. +1. Texas Democrats owe him a great debt of gratitude

Keep in mind he collected $80M and pretty much immediately shared it, instead of keeping it for himself or his future campaigns.

It's sad how the other camps have sought to minimize and ridicule what he accomplished in Texas - the level of vitriol and ill will against him from Democrats is worse than when he was running against Cruz

The enthusiasm was phenomenal and contagious. There was genuine love for him and his family. I heard many people who had Beto bumper stickers never took them off
